what do u mean chunking it up? shortening it?

He is saying to create smaller paragraphs. 2 - 3 sentence paragraphs look much cleaner. I don't know about you, but I do not really enjoy reading large blocks of text.

Couple of things.

First...I think that your page needs a bit of work. I would move the links from the left hand top Corner to the right side if not get rid of them all together.

Second....I would put some more work into your content.

• The text flow into your aff link is not cohesive and makes me feel like you are just jamming in some text to get me to click. It needs to be natuaral and engage your reader.
• Break up your sentences. Shorter paragraphs no more than 4-5 sentences in each paragraph.
• Use Sub Headings

I'll make adjustments. I've spent a lot of time writing articles for EZA and really didn't spend much time on the actual review site. I will write shorter reviews.

Yes, put a real title there instead of "index2".

90 clicks is not enough to make any conclusions.

You might also cloak those affiliate links, although your target market may not recognize them anyway.

Where are you checking stats to determine that nobody is clicking those links? Maybe the data there is wrong.

Get rid of that gray sidebar, it's downright ugly. If you want those links on the page, put them on the bottom like this.......

Obviously, you should center it too.


Also, get rid of the words "Review # Blank" You don't need them. The reader sees the product name, then reads. No need for those phrases to be repeated again and again.

- Better Headline
- Shorten Paragraphs
- Create Bullet Points on Some of Beneficial Features of the Products
- Post excerpts of testimonials
- Get rid of all the text links. Have only 2-3 links, 1 at the top, 1 in the middle, 1 at the bottom
- Use a Graphic for "# Stars"
- Put each review into a table for better structure. (when it come to reviews, I love using tables)
- Put a Disclaimer and Privacy Link at the bottom. Makes it look more professional and it will protect you legally. (make sure you actually add the pages).
- Once again, Get rid of ugly bar on left side.

Those are just my suggestions.

In addition, it's hard to evaluate a product or review page without a substantial number of clicks. I think 100 is a bit too low, although some may disagree. If you can get 300-500 clicks to a product, you should then be able to determine if it's a keeper or not.

P.S. Weight loss is a tough niche to get into, as many people are skeptical right from the get-go. You really got to get their blood pumping about a product or you'll lose them. I don't think the same old technique or "This is Good and This is Bad" is going to be that effective.... I could be wrong though.

I'm going to be brutally honest with you, the second I clicked on your link I wanted to click the X button because of one simple reason... I judge and base my decisions to stay or leave on a website in less then 3 seconds.

Just like many people if nothing catches my eye and holds me down I usually just look for a way out...

With that being said what you can do to improve your website is definitely work on trying to "Catch" your visitors attention to stay and read a bit what you have to offer ... work on sparking the visitors interest to get the click...

I see your trying very hard to try to make the sale yourself and It would be best to leave that job for the sales page.

Your goal is to catch the visitors eye... present them with the interesting opportunity that sparks their interests and direct them to your affiliate link to do ALL THE SELLING AND TELLING FOR YOU.

Also you can test this out for yourself but having the side bar positioned on the right side instead of the left side will get you much more clicks.

The right side, usually below the header of a website is known to be the hot-spot where humans eye's are immediately directed. This goes for offline too... ever wondered why every time you walk into a store all the "hot" merchandise are usually on the right side... example apple stores will always put all their higher end merchandise such as MacBook Pro's, G5's etc. on the right side and their "cheaper" products ipods nano's etc. on the left side...

So work on grabbing your visitors attention, spark their interest enough to get the click and let the affiliate sales page do all the selling and telling for you. (If the affiliate sales copy doesn't convert then you need to switch that up)

My first impression is that it's very wordy and seeing those long paragraphs didn't really make me want to read the page. Bullet points would be good...

I also think weight loss is a bit hard to get into, even though it's such a big market and so many people are looking to lose weight. I have a campaign going and it's only made me a bit of money so far.

Maybe it's the keywords you're using in your ads?

The BIGGEST thing you can do to help yourself is NOT make it look like an ad.

That right there turns people off a lot. You want to come across as completely unbiased, empathetic, and not looking like an ad.

You need a subscription to Aweber to get the emails of your visitors. You can go to Wealthy Affiliate for more advices.

More white space on the site, and less links wouldn't hurt and 99 visitors is not enough visitors to reach any conclusions.

- Those big blocks of text turn people off.

- You may be able to test a lot cheaper at one of the smaller PPC engines.

with some programs/products a conversion rate 1:100 is normal. Not good, but that's just how it is. I wouldnt freak if you get 90 clicks and no sale. Monitor longer and report how many sales you got after, say, 500 clicks.

I just took a quick glance at your site:

The first thing i see is that "Flush Out.." ad..and i can see that anyone really concerned about that issue might be turned off since the ad is just "too" in their face right at the beginning of the reviews.

The second thing i dont like is the slogan "weight loss secrets revealed".

The idea behind the site is actually good, the design is "ok" also, but the site itself is just another one of 10000s similar on the net, and in conjunction with the ads it just makes one of million "weightloss" sites trying to sell something desperately.

You might be better off tuning down the ads and slogans, and really make it appear like a review site where the visitor actually can get some valuable information about the programs tested. You can leave the links in the reviews and everything.
A site with honest reviews about programs on CB == good!
A site which is just another WL site with ads for whatever products over and over == bad.

Another problem that i see is that you have way to many products on your
page, review pages should be around 3 products in total,

I counted 9 products, it makes it too confusing for the viewer, by giving them less options you will have a much better chance of getting a conversion.

Also you need a catchy header 'weight loss secrets revealed is just plain boring' you need to capture your viewer within the first 8 seconds with a shocking title to keep them on your page.

I made a few changes. I want to switch my layout but I don't know how to use wordpress.

Tell me if my changes are okay. I've shortened the reviews and taken away some of the links.

I think the phelp's image does not look good for a weight loss site, it could be just me.

also, 90 clicks are not many, 1 click can make the CTR > 1%. maybe it is better to test more.

I'm not a great copywriter to comment on your sales copy.If I'm in your place,I'll consider polishing up the sales/review copy with copywriting tools.Good copy is important.Go to the copywriting section at WF and get some tips.There are a lot of great copywriters there.

I don't know much yet - I am very much in the early learning stages, but I noticed that your site stresses features, not benefits. What will the product(s) do for you? Feel better? Look younger? From what I have read, you should sell the sizzle, not the steak.

(Though, I am not sure how you incorporate benefits into a review site.)

I concur with someone above. Michael Phelps is the very last person an overweight person could relate to. If I were overweight I would click him off my screen right away.

I am new to Internet business and have a few things working at the present time 734 clicks and not one sale. I am an affiliate for a good product and can not figure it out.

1. There are a few distractions on your site. First is the **** berry ad and second is the picture of michael phelps on the left. I feel these 2 images distract your visitors from the reviews on your site.

2. Put in an attention grabbing headline.

3. Put more content in the reviews and use "gold" coloured stars to show the ratings. Decrease the font size and maximum of 3 to 4 lines per paragraph. This is for easy reading.

This is just my opinion. Hope it helps!

Well, your page is clean, but I just didn't see anything compelling about it. It was just sort of a listing of products (or maybe it was the same product). It didn't engage me - it didn't make me want to stop and think about what it was saying.

I echo the sentiments about Michael Phelps. That grabbed me right off the bat. His weight has absolutely nothing to do with any weight-loss product. Your readers won't be able to connect with him in any way. Bad example.

Also, KenJ may be onto something. Since most of these over-the-counter weightloss products don't work, you probably need to have a super-polished, almost clinical look. Maybe explain why this product really does work (if it does).

Statements like this were a REAL turnoff to me:

I don't even begin to buy that and I doubt that your readers' will either. It destroys the credibility of your entire page.

Engage the visitor. Ask a question that hits home with him/her. Then answer it with your product.
