which autoresponder deliver messages to inbox?

I signed up to emailaces (the free acount one) to see if it was worth subscribing. When I tested it, the confirmation email was sent to my junkmail, which was fine by me as that does happen. However, my followups were also sent to my junkmail as well rather than straight to inbox. This was also the case for other cheaper alternatives I tried which will defenitely kill conversions.

Can anyone confirm that aweber or getresponse doesn't have this problem?

Because at the moment I can only pay by paypal

    This can be a problem with any autoresponder. The problem is on the receiving end. Your email provider or software is deciding that message is spam. If it will let you, you should mark your messages as "not spam" when they get put in the junk folder.

    I'm quite sure my messages do not look spammy. Is there a way to solve this problem without the need of saying "not spam" as I havent seen anyone use those words in the messages I recieve before.

      I am not sure about emailaces but I know with Aweber you can "test" your messages "spam" score. This tends to help in my opinion. You can also make immediate tweaks to your message to lower your score and help reduce the messages that get sent to Junk...

    I don't mean you should say "not spam" in your email! Doing that might actually increase the odds of it being considered spam.

    If you find one of your emails in your junk or spam folder, and there is a "not spam" button in your email software or service (as there is with Yahoo), press it. That's not going to fix everything, but it can help some.

    It doesn't matter if your messages look spammy to you... it matters what the filters think.

    Also sign up to your list from addresses with different providers and see which ones put the messages in your inbox.

    yeah, I get what you mean. Actually I just tested this with hotmail and the safe button is more noticeable when you logged in from the site itself, but not from windows mail software I'm using. I guess I would have to make people who optin more aware of this on my thankyou page instead.

    Like Jamie said, with aWeber you can test to see if your email is 'spammy' or not and they tell you what you can change.

    maybe you'll just have to tell your subscribers to keep an eye out and to mark your email address as 'safe'

    It's always a good idea to include a note on your confirmation screen to watch for the email address that will be sending your autoresponder messages.
