How To Transfer Namecheap Domain to someone else?

Warriors,

Need help with this. I have a domain that i want to sell to one of my friend.. I had bought the domain from Namecheap.com

Can anyone tell me how to transfer the domain through Namecheap?

Any help will be really appreciated..

    G'day, Anup.

    The easiest way is to go to your chosen registrar and ask them to arrange the transfer for you. Most registrars have a "transfer domain" function somewhere on their site. You may need to provide a domain or registration "key" to verify that you are the legal owner of the site.

    You should have been provided with this key when you originally registered the name with NameCheap. If you don't have it, I think you can request the key to be sent to you by email. It will go to the email address originally given when the domain was registered.

    I done this last time form name cheap to godaddy. it's really not good coz when u go to transfer u have to pay $9 for transfer fee and it takes 3 to 7 days sometime.

    Just go to your name cheap account and click in the Transfer Your Domain and then click in Transfer Your Domain to Someone/ Webhost then proceed.

    and if u want to push the domain name in name cheap to name cheap then just Push the domain name. just go to that domain name details and then Push domain to user. that's it

        If you want all legalities transferred then sell it to your friend through market place rather than transferring, you may be giving out personal details.
