I Need Help To Build A List.

Hello, My name is Gilbert and I'm am new to the internet marketing world. I have been involved with internet marketing for about two months and I was wondering if anybody could give me some good places to start that I don't have to pay to much money for. A lot of people on the internet want to sell their products to build a list and I just don't know which one will work so I really haven't bought any programs yet! If anyone could help it would be apreciated.

    Freebie + Squeeze Page + opt In Form + Traffic = LIST

    That's the formula. But remember this is not a list of customers, you need to have a list of customers if you wnt to strike it rich online.

    My recommendation? Start by creating your own sales letter, product and articles, hubs, lenses, videos , podcasts etc. and sell the product to the incoming traffic to build a list of customers.

    Have an exit pop up that captured emails and names in return for a freebie.

    This way you will have two lists... customers and prospects.

    first thing you should consider is building your list up

    go to freewebs.com get a free website for now, register a 6 dollar godaddy domain to re direct to your freewebs site.

    freewebs gives you a sign up form and it is really easy to use to help build your list.

    shoot a video for your opt in page and some good accommodating text

    create a 7 day course of some kind to give away to your opt ins and begin building a relationship with your readers.

    use articles and youtube videos to send traffic to your opt in page

    bookmark your videos

    just very basic but should get you going until you find a good product

    The best advice is to look into all the different autoresponders as this is the service you must have to build and manage your list / create the opt-in form.

    The gold standard is aweber, assuiming that you want to create squeezepages and put opt-in boxes on your blog.

    If you want to go down the co-reg option then you'll need to use another service as aweber won't accept co-reg leads. Emailace's does accept co-reg, and it's cheaper to get started with.

    Eitherway once you pick an autoresponder you've got to stick with it, as any reputable company won't let you import leads and start sending. If they claim that as a feature then it's a red flag, and you won't have good deliverability, amking the whole list building process useless.

    Thanks Everyone for your help!
    I have Aweber autoresponder and have about 20 leads. I have made a free 7 Day training course but right now the hard thing is getting traffic to my capture page. Does anyone know if traffic exchanges or list builders are good?
    I have used traffic exchanges but I havan't seen results. And I have also used List Auction one time. Any help would be apreciated.
