The other night on one of my coaching webinars I had a total newbie that was basically in tears because she was so confused about traffic.
I basically broke it down like this for her...
Most traffic tactics are to help you rank in the search engines. Like article marketing great for some "right now" traffic, but really works well to get you backlinks to your site.
Now there's also traffic you buy... PPC, buying ads on people's sites, etc...
Then there's referral traffic. Having your own affiliate program, or some kind of viral campaign.
To help newbies like this, I'm going to be putting together a free report on traffic strategies. It wont go into great detail on the how to do each strategy, but instead tell what each strategy should be used for.
For you traffic geniuses out there the way I have it broken down above, would that be a good way to start out this report?
This lady I dealt with just broke my heart and I'm sure there's a ton of newbies out there that if they new what traffic strategies to use for what, they could better focus on the correct ones and actually get targeted traffic to their sites.
