INTERNET MARKETING

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a good royalty free image website?

I have looked at soooo many now and all the good ones seem to say free but then you have to pay!

I want to be able to quickly and easily copy and paste some images to make a new sales video I am working on look professional but I don't want to spend any more money on it!

Hi Helen,

Royalty free means there are no further payments once you get a license to use the image. (No royalties, just the original license fee)

What you are looking for are strickly "free" images.

Istockphoto dot com, as an example, has thousands of images you can buy the rights to for under $2. Money should not be a problem.

  I'd have to agree with Bill, if you do find any free images they are probably widely used and wouldn't be very effective. There's a bunch of sites that sell photos super cheap, he mentioned one and here's another: stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site
  
  Just find a few photos that you want and buy em, you can get them for $1 each so it won't break your bank or anything.

Try stock.xchng stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site. Huge archive of free stock images.

Also, pplstock has some nice people-related images, with prices of about $1-2 each.

Helen,

I think what you meant is that you want sites that offer free - royalty free images you can use, correct?

If that's the case, here's a couple:

stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site
http://www.RGBstock.com - this one is fairly new
morgueFile free photos for creatives by creatives

That should get you started

If we're talking about buying royalty free images, then I gotta go with www.BigStockPhoto.com simply for the fact that you get bigger images for your credits as opposed to iStock.

While the credit purchase prices are lower at iStock, you end up using more credits for images compared to BigStockPhoto.

This is just my experience and opinion, so take it as you will

For free and royalty free I love Public Domain

I would start with the Library of Congress - you should find a few HUNDRED thousand (yes HUNDREDS of thousands) Library of Congress Home
