Nebie needs help and recommendations PLEASE

OK I am going to sound like a right thicko, but its my age!!, I have purchased loads of help products and I am nearly ready to go but I am stuck. How do I put resource boxes and links into my articles and squidoo web pages etc and how do I upload to make them all live??
I have been pondering for hours but now even tho i look like a dumb ass i have had to ask for help!??

Any help will be appreciated, recommendations for how to please.

    Google "make clickable links". That should set you off in the right direction.

      I am writing articles using open office.org writer, is that ok? or am I completely using the wrong system?

    resource boxes and links will be entered in a section in ezine for example when u submit ur article, it has a box where u put them in, hope that helps

        I use that myself. That's a pretty good tool to use. Sometimes the best things in life are FREE. Most of the times you get what yoiu pay for though, but not with open Office. Just remember you do not have to hit "Enter/Return" every time you reach the end of a line. Use the key only when you want to move to the next paragraph. Do not use it in the middle of a paragraph...

        If you said that for my blog, then I guess I really need to work on my blog... But never get the time these days..
