We need The Step by Step guide for Blogger

I came Across Steve Crooks $100 from one Blog in 3months 2days ago. He gives a step by step guide and some interesting things to add to a blog like review, videos and its own forum.

Now the problem is I don't understand how to use wordpress and I started out my IMing career with Blogger so is there someone who knows or who wouldn't mind doing a step by step guide as well for Blogger because really its the technical stuff I'm not so good with i.e how to wrap adsense round text properly,including pictures in the header, widening the width of the blog or shortening it, Navigational Bar these are all just some issues on my quuest when I first started out with my blog which is in my sig. Some issues I found solutions too others I found half measures others I still don't have a clue but I kept going and Ive made a fair bit with the blog in terms of sales. Oh yea I realised after I had set up the Blog (and read Steves post and applying somethings he said) that it would never an adsense earner as 0.04 cents is its highest in the Google tool.

After reading some of the stuff in Steve Crooks thread I realised that what I thought was a good blog is really still riding with its training wheels on.

So all I ask for us newbies who are still working hard is for someone with the know how to give us a step by step for the Blogger platform.

I'd give my step by step guide on how I got my own blog (in my sig) up but I don't know what things I did which were definitely right and others which I didnt even realise were being done. E.g from Keyword Research to what i think were the right seo settings to switch on or off in my blogg settings and options.

Clearly I'm not an authority and I don't want to lead anyone astray but ask for someone to S.O.S and show us how the light and let us run to it ourselves.

Cos to be honest for us newbies its really the technical stuff thats hard for us we can all easily write great content all week long and then find all high rankiing directories and drop articles there but then I see rss traffic feeds and I'm like what does that mean or what does a sitemap actually do?

You might also pick up a copy of Zombie Blogging. Zeus and I basically went through the hundreds of messages in those two threads, pulled out the useful information, and extended it with a little extra.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm currently writing a step by step guide to Wordpress - which is on hold pending the release of the new version.

I hadn't thought of writing a Blogger one.

Writing tutorials is kind of "what I do" having taught IT to adults for 12 years. (Ok - I rarely do any teaching these days)

Ps Try to find a blogger template you can use also, like at BloggerThemes - I think it is? And also Blogger Buster which has tutorials on Blogger.

I'd agree with Brian that you'll find some some excellent advice in those 2 threads by John Schwartz (Zeus66) but to avoid you having to wade through some of the waffle from posters who like to "chat about" rather than build their businesses I recommend you grab the Zombie Blogging WSO. It cuts to the meat of what you need and will help you be more productive.

I recommend BecomeABlogger Program from Yaro Starak and Gideon Shalwick since both of them have always been in the Blogging Industry and I believe they know how the blogging platform should be established.

I may sound like a fan but honestly I am because I'm one of their successful products!

well after the first 4pages it sems really all I needed to do was just watch the video as primarily the rest of the thread was of thanks and appreciations to the video.

Which reminds me I need to go back and thank Zeus.

Now the video is an excellent Idea if you wanna start off first with PLR articles but I've always thought writing it myself is more unique in my own voice and just you know ''more me'' but the tactic of dripping articles is still useful if say you already know what topic each post should contain and then you can spend say 4days writing 50 of them i.e the posts and let each one smoothly flow into the other and then for the rest of the time let them dripp into the blog automatically with the method used by Zeus.

Otherwise just use the free PLR method he shows in the video itself if ud rather just use other ppls free plr articles.

You might also pick up a copy of Zombie Blogging. Zeus and I basically went through the hundreds of messages in those two threads, pulled out the useful information, and extended it with a little extra.

Now as for the Zombie Blogging I haven't bought it yet sadly I had a cancelled sale on my sight which was meant to be the money to use for it but ah well hopefully another sale will come in soon enough.

Sounds like a good basic guide from what I gather from the thread, but does anyone know if its the same as the blogging to the bank e-book as that covers the basics too and I already have that so I don't basically want to buy the same thing twice (well not yet at least cos even though its the same thing I wanna buy it still when Im say $40 richer as its said to be a good read )

Now I'm going through the road map to Blogging so far so good Im on page 15 as we speak so hopefully by this time tomorrow ill have more of an update on the Book.

In the Meantime if anyone knows a thread with the stype by step guide for Blogger i.e starting from keyword research to the blogger settings that are most seo friendly to meta tag creations.

You know,the stuff behind the scenes(the stuff in the html code, the implementing navigation bars, the appropriate meta tags) that we know should be done and so we ''google'' it but don't know the right way around implementing them, please share.

Or anything else that would be useful to me and generations of blogger newbies to come please don't be shy.

Like I said Im yet to finish the Yaro report or go through the Yaro Videos but I'm glad someone shared them cos whatever useful tips I pick up I'll share back in this post.

BTTB is almost exclusively about selling affiliate products, but Zombie Blogging touches on that only briefly. I think there are three sentences about it. Similarly, I think BTTB has around three sentences about AdSense.

Honestly the first thing I'd do is setup WordPress on your own domain! You can set it up quickly and easily through your domain cpanel.

Then just find a free theme that is very easy to customise - go grab one from here... Free | WooThemes

Seriously once you get into this, you'll find all the help you need for Wordpress.

So I haven't slept yet you wanna know why I just came across this site and have been on it all night and so far early morning

ITs got so many cool widgets that a blog with some traffic say 30 a day could benfit form.

Ok Im kinda stuck Ive added the page and number navigation to my page with using these codes they worked at first but now no longer does anyone know what Im doing wrong?

No I didnt Yukon but Ive removed the currency converter now by partially hidden you meant like in the currency converter right i.e it was there when u scrolled down ?

Cos that was a blogger widget I recently added but its normal size wouldnt fit in the sidebar.

I am also a blogger user. I found everything regarding it on Google itself. I use the different websites to findout whatever I want. I basically do not like to write guides or something time consuming, so I use only the Google to find on specific topics.

Does anyone know if its true that your only allowed to do five forms of promotion/traffic generation for ur blog a day i.e ''five a day'' otherwise google penalises you.

So say I had forums, social bookmarks,articles,press releases as my methods

I can only do 5 a day of one of these so Monday I can make 5posts in forums about my website and nothing else for the day in order to generate traffic.

Then on Tuesday if I feel like doing social bookmarks I can only do 5 of these
and so on.

I have dropped 100 links in various forms. But once you start you need to keep Link Velocity up. What gets you sand boxed is building 1000 link 1 day a month

And Im back with a new question Im almost ready to post this complete step by step for blogger to help all newbies on blogspot.

But first guys how in the world do you incorporate adsense into the blogger content itself I ve searched and read at least 20methods on google results and still none are working.

Say for instance my Blog is this

So it seems that on this journey to do a step by step guide for blogger ad learning everything in the end tho blogger may seem easy to use and all you don't technicall own the blog cos google owns the blogger platform and hence your blog and so it can be deleted at any moment if they feel the need to according to some of the horro stories however I guess now ill be learning how to do the transition from building a bloggger blog to importing it into word press

Now I see how directors come about the twists and turns they include in films to insinuate there will be a Part II LOL

But yea soon I will through up the step by step guide to help everyone it possibly can and re-Write History (just like the Nike soccer ad. that came up during the 2010 World Cup )
