When do you submit to EzineArticles?

Hi,
I've got a few articles on my site that I'd like to post onto EzineArticles. The issue is that Google has not indexed them yet. I've been wainting for Google to index them before I post them on EzineArticles. Does this make a difference?

Or can I put them on EzineArticles before Google has indexed them?
I'm concerned about it appearing to Google that I have copied off EzineArticles if it indexes my article there before indexing it on my site.

Thanks

EzineArticles wants something new and to be the source of articles. What I do is that I start by posting to EzineArticles before those articles are found anywhere else on the Web.

Same method with me, I usually try rewrite the article somewhat for my website though.

Should my site not be the authoritive and source of the articles (thus should be indexed first) before I submit to EzineArticles?

      Alex,
Thanks for your response this is what I was looking for.

Anyone else reading this thread have a look at the url that Alexa put in about when to post on your site vs EZA for more info on this topic.

I think you might want to rewrite your articles before posting them somewhere else.

Yes, what Alexa says it correct (as usual).

As long as Ezine knows that you are the original author it is absolutely fine to put the articles on your website first, in fact it's what you should always do.

I cannot believe how many times this pops up here - EZA or Site?

I think by now Alexa have a "WF Autoresponder" in place to set the record straight! People please listen!
