What is up with Joe Kumar?

I recently bought reprint rights to a product by Joe Kumar called "30 Days To Internet Marketing Success".

A search on Google brought up some info that he has been accused of stealing $15,000.00 from a client.

My questions are:

(1) Is this fraud thing true?

(2) If it is true, would you still promote his product?

Most of his websites are still up and running. I think he is still in business.

What do you Think?

Yikes... he's still around? I didn't know that.

The whole Joe Kumar saga was actually trashed out right here on this very Forum.

I don't think the search function on the old Forum works anymore but maybe someone might have a direct link to the threads in question (if they still exist).

I'm not sure if many people would want to see it dragged up again though...

    Tommy.

He should still be in prison.

That product is very old now and although it has some sensible advice and hence current value - it's not up-to-date and so I stopped selling it a couple of years ago.

(many warriors bought rights to it, but they got devalued quickly as people were giving them away in the end)

      He actually got prison time?

I remember the scenario well, what a shame, he had a great
product and greed got the best of him.

I have not heard boo from him and would be very surprised
if he surfaces under anything but an assumed name in the
      future.

The last I heard was when he was being pursued in Asia somewhere by the authorities having ripped off one too many people.

I stopped caring once I saw him selling everyones email addresses without their permission and people kept coming back here complaining they'd been taken for thousands of dollars.

I think we should leave that rock well and truly unturned again for now.

There were a few problems with Joe Kumar...

    1. He was a neophyte masquerading as an expert by giving info, that itself wasn't all that complete, from various people here. In fact, someone ELSE here gave him the idea! In fact, he used people HERE to promote it! In otherwords, he really did NOTHING...
    2. OK, you got me, he DID somehow arrange for OTHERS to do the work. Some asked for compensation. THIS is where the start of the story really turns against him. Apparently, many of those didn't get paid!
    3. He bragged about making LOTS of money! It was pretty unreal. There was no PENTUP demand, or preadvertising, like the guys that brag about similar feats today. Then again, he DID use the same tactic of getting the big lists to promote him.
    4. He got tired of the small charges, and decided to sell EVERYTHING! Abandon ALL rights!
    5. He later decided to sell EVERYTHING AGAIN, and even SELL the right(that he no longer had) to sell it to others.
    6. I think he did step 5 AGAIN!

After all this, his reputation was just TRASHED! Even his biggest supporters abandoned him!

I agree...let it go, unless he's at it again, in which case, people need to be warned.
There was plenty of info about him on the old ablake forum, but I don't know if it is accessible now.
