Hi all,

Devoted IM newbie here. I have a site I've been playing with for a few years, but now I've become full-on committed to doing IM, and I want to monetize it as best I can. I get a bit of traffic, and make a little off Adsense. CPC is around $1, so not too bad.

The problem is, CTR is very volatile, and some of the highest traffic pages have almost no clicks, I'm sure due to fewer relevant ads. I know I need to add affiliate products, but when I've done that with CJ and Amazon, I get plenty of clicks but zero conversions.

The obvious conclusion I've come to is I need to pre-sell better, maybe create individual product pages, a product guide, etc. The site itself is mostly informational now, but I think it's good, with quality content.

People come to this site because they have a irritating (in the extreme) problem, so I would think they'd be looking to buy. I'm assuming my problem is in the presentation.

I did some searching of the forum and found some good posts, and the X-Factor Trust ebook. But would anybody care to share some other tips or point me to some good e-books or sites on preselling?

This is just one of many, many things I need to learn more about, along with marketing, copy-writing, SEO, article submissions, etc, but any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to figure out this IM thing if it freakin' kills me!

Thanks in advance for any help, and for this awesome resource. Couldn't do it without you all.

Peace.

I know exactly what you need. I'm going to tell you the same thing I keep trying to tell everyone else who wonders why they can't make any money. The only difference here is that I asked everyone to answer (1) survey question first and they I would tell them what they ALREADY KNOW but they just don't listen or pay attention or use common sense that makes logical sense.

I Guess expecting anyone to answer 1 question was too much for them to bear. Some people are just too high strung for their own good. Anyway, what you need is coaching but scratch that. Too expensive. Next option. Group setting with other members who are helping EACH OTHER make money by marketing to the outside world and then comparing results... make adjustments based on what is working for everyone. Then repeat the process.

NOTE: the important point to remember is the market is NOT EACH OTHER. That's outside the door. You are there to HELP EACH OTHER not to Cross-Promote YOUR Offers TO EACH OTHER. Consider it incest if you are going to do that. I didn't think so but how else do you get people to understand that simple concept. Incest is such an ugly word, isn't it?

The current group is known as the Secret Society that nobody knows about except the members who are making money. Some more than others but they all make something every month. It's professionally managed by DarrenMonroe.com if you're interested in checking anything out.

I haven't joined myself just yet because I don't believe it's possible to succeed without help. People need people to succeed at anything beyond mediocre. When I find enough people to join with me, then the group will make money by helping each other under professional supervision.

That's what I doing here. Trying to get through to these knuckleheads who don't seem to understand what I'm screaming about. Maybe you do. Maybe not. Somebody will. Sooner or later. Rome wasn't built in a day. Maybe nobody wants to know why people buy. I'll save that for the group that wants to make some money!!
