What is the Best Photo Storage Site? Any Recommendations

Can I get some recommendations for a photo storage site? Here is what I need.

The ability to store a lot of pictures.
Slide show ability.
The ability to show close ups.
Easy upload
Easy integration onto my website
No downtimes

Free is best..... but it doesn't have to be.

Thanks
Lucinda

Except for the close ups, I think photobucket is a good choice.

I like the way photobucket provides you html, bb,,,, and other popular codes below the images. You can then just copy the code and paste it where you want the image to appear.

        Hi,

I have a few on Flickr and on Photobucket, but it's not a priority for me. I don't even know if they're still there. I did like Flickr, though, because they provide the capability to display your albums from Flickr on your own site, simply by adding a bit of code, which is rather a nice feature. I don't know if or how other photo sites do that.

Some photo storage sites do not keep your photos up for long if you do not go back into your account on a regular basis. They will see your account as inactive, so you have to keep your eye on that.

Of course, some limit the storage so you'll just have to compare to see which has the most.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Flickr has no limitation on how long your images stay up. For the others, I'm not sure how long that time is. I think I saw one was only 6 months.

Certainly, Flickr is one of the most popular.

If I were you, I'd run a search and check out all that appear on the first page of results. Those should be the most popular ones. Then, check out their policy and any limitations.

I read on one site, can't recall which, that they do not guarantee that your images will be safe. In other words, if they "lose" your account from something like a server crash. So be sure to look into that as well. And keep copies of your photos on your own CDs/DVDs so you always have access to them and can protect them yourself.

        Hope this helps.
