Question for product creation experts and affiliates

I'm creating a very unique exercise program for total health and weight loss.

I plan on releasing it to Clickbank? (Yeah? Nay?)

What are the pros and cons (from your side of the fence) in making it a "one-time download" digital delivery vs. a "recurring membership delivery?"

If recurring, should I have it fixed term and deliver it in pieces in 3,6,, 12 months or should I not have it be fixed and have it be monthly, recurring and ongoing?

      Clickbank is a good solution for selling your product with an affiliate program.

      But as there are many products in the same branche your program would have to be totaly unique to get the so called Super Affiliates on your side and it would have to be a lucrative deal.

      Now I would say make it definately recurring membership with a 6 months minimum.

      Try to get some JV partners aboard before you release the product and offer them a higher (or full) commission.

        Thought provoking... So I guess I have to see this, in part, thru the affiliates eyes, not just the consumer. (I'm used to making everything for patients and never satisfying anyone else)

        What important factors (other than sheer dollars) a would make them lot this that I could plan in from the beginning?

    I'm much more likely to pay for a one time product than a membership. I don't like recurring fees and usually leave memberships pretty quickly.

      But from an affiliate perspective it's more lucrative to have an recurring income. Personally I mostly pick membership products to promote.

      I agree with that. With everything online it seems people want instant gratification. But then look at Weightwatchers and other diet sites that are membership. Weightwatchers teaches how to eat normally, as in normal foods rather than special diet foods, on an ongoing basis to maintain and promote weight loss, so if you have a model like that, it can work.
