Need help monitizing 1000 visitors a day - new onilne health care site

Hi,

We have a startup that we have been working on for the past two years. The site is a health care hub - basically a very large website with over 110 different sections, 5.5 million pages of content, etc...

Since we are new, we are getting about 1000 visitors a day right now but the traffic is increasing daily.

So, based on that traffic we are making less than $20 a day from CPC ads (adsense) and although we do have clickbank on the site, we are getting no traction there.

Here is the $64000 question:

What would you do to maximize your earning per day given the traffic? What would be the best way to make at least a $100 a day with that traffic?

    Thanks... well we are now one of the largest health care sites online - very similar to webmd - so, I know the traffic will continue to rise once we have more and more pages indexed (according to our sitemaps in google, we have over 400k pages indexed so far).

    The problem is that I think adsense is just not paying anything. Everything we have is free and no login or registration needed (except for some services for health professionals). So all pages are "free" and available.

    I am just wondering does a 1000-visitors-a-day really has a limit of about $20 of income?!
