LOL I found a source of steady consistent traffic! I should have been doing this since day 1

I just finished checking stats for the day and I felt happy when I checked
my article view stats because I can see that it's effective.

I should have listened to all the post here about article marketing when I started.

In fact during my first few months here I tried writing articles but just
got derailed by all the other "Hot" methods.

I realize that the fastest way to generate consistent traffic for free is
article submission. I have one article submitted just about 24 hours
ago and it now has 22 views.

I started submitting articles to articlesbase, now after a few days
I have 200 views and it's growing daily at a big percentage.

This is not the only free traffic strategy I know but I think this one is the
most consistent and grows quickly. I'll still have to monitor the conversions
and adjust the call to action when necessary but I still enjoy getting the traffic for free.

I'm beginning to fall in love with article writing

    Articlesbase only shows you the article views and profile views.

    I tried looking for stats on clicks but haven't found any.

    I'll have to monitor my hosting webalizer stats to see if the traffic is
    redirected to my sales page.

    However I can't access my cpanel as of the moment so I won't
    be able to check it out until it's fixed.

    I like my long tail Google traffic though... Especially the phrases that include "buy" in them.

    Articles which I posted 1 year back still get views as good as new. If your niche is not too competitive... the traffic will increase with time.

    They are your digital assets. The internet grows around it! Like real estate!

    Another thing to do with your articles is to take a few of the most successful articles and turn them into videos.

    My video views have been growing faster than my article views.

      Yes Matt videos get more views than articles in quick time also gets more CTR bcoz people belive more on what they see rather than what they read.

        I submited 1 article 3 days ago, I have just 44 of that 1 article published on lower grade article directorys.

        First keyword has moved from page 18 to page 13.

        Second keyword has moved from page 10 to page 4.

        This was an experiment using only low quality directorys.

        The best part is I can submit to hundreds of these directorys with only time spent on spinning and then pressing a couple of buttons to submit them.

          Today my first keyword is now on page 10 with still only 44 articles posted, 2nd keyword has not moved.

          Google tells me there are around 15,000 exact searches per month while Market Samauri tells me just over 1000 searches per day.

    Yeah and if you find some non-competitive high traffic keywords, and add a few backlinks then you will probably go into shock when you see the results.

    If people aren't clicking, than the only one that should be happy is Ezine! Let me know how many people are clicking, because I have been thinking about getting into article marketing. My current site is getting 500 uniques a day, and I haven't touched article marketing. Maybe it's time, or maybe our efforts are best left for the content we are putting on our site as I hate wasting time helping others make more money (ezine).

    If people are not clicking through or conversion is poor, that cannot be blamed on the system(article marketing). He just have to tweak the articles to get that. I am sure OP understand that.

    It is GOOD strategy. But let's shine some light on Google and ezinearticles. Doesn't every single article, on any given subject, have ads around it?

    People have PAID google to get their ads shown on "relevant" content web sites, which is pretty much the reason Google bought eza, so they could ADVERTISE and get paid.

    The better strategy is to have LINKS from a content rich web site which refers the traffic to you because the reader is already INTERESTED and somewhat prequalified to be in tune with whatever off you make.

    FREE traffic from a LINK on a web site is more targeted and more predisposed to your offers.

    Continue to use eza and continue to write articles, but just understand, IF you do get eyeballs on YOUR article, these same eyeballs are given many OPTIONS and LINKS to move away from your article toward the "ad" which may address their current state of mind more than your article does.

    A strong "network" of linked together web sites which funnel TARGETED traffic to you is an even better (in my opinion) way to get FREE traffic with more BUYERS.

    Keep writing, but get linked up with other sites too.

      Writing articles is a great way to start getting readers and action takers. Its a simple, direct strategy that works for a lot of people. After you have some articles published and are getting readers and clicks, then you can tweak your articles, body and title to get more (use new articles, otherwise you have to be re-approved).

      Then you can try out other methods to get more traffic to your site, but as far as being a systematic approach you can start today -- without buying the next big thing -- it is hard to beat article marketing.
