How to Edit PDF's the Best Way for FREE?

Hi Warriors,
I need to edit PDF's. I don't have Adobe Acrobat Professional and not going to spend $500 to edit my PDF files...

Is there a free program to use to edit the text and still keep it professional without losing quality of the original PDF file?

Thx a million,
Chloe

There seem to be lots if you do a google search - although I haven't tried them. I saw one tip which said import it into OpenOffice Draw(powerpoint) application, then edit and export again as a pdf. Might be worth trying. Let us know how you get on!

You need to download the Sun PDF Import Extension from

Sun PDF Import Extension | OpenOffice.org repository for Extensions

      and install this.

Then start OpenOffice Draw and open a PDF file. This can then be edited and exported to PDF when completed.

I create my PDF's in openoffice writer. I don't see why you can't copy and paste the content into open office, amend and export as a PDF.

Not all PDF files are open for you to just import, open, and edit as you choose.

You may need to read the permissions of the file first.

As others have mentioned, Open Office is the best free solution.

    Hi Chloe

You can buy the Infix Pdf Editor for $99. I found it good to use in the past.
