Hi!

My question is, say I have a Wordpress blog (which I do) and say that this blog covers a wide array of sub-niches within its main niche.

The home page of this blog which 'main niche' I speak of is health/beauty/fitness. I plan on creating an optin form on this main page of the blog which can alert visitors to any new posts made in any category.

There will be sub categories for each sub-niche that I pick up affiliate products for such as skin, hair, weight loss, etc.

I heard tell that it is best to create and build a list for each individual 'sub-niche' so my question isss....

Is it possible to have both my 'main list' building optin form on the main page of my blog, but then also have an optin form on each seperate category of my blog, each a seperate type of 'sub-niche list' to sign up for.

Is this possible? Did I even make sense?...I reread my own threads sometimes and confuse the hell outta myself..so sry if I do that to other ppl. Alot of my threads are like this, I have an uncanny way of making things more than difficult than they should be lol.

Thanks again in advance!!

-Bre

P.S. After re-reading, I mean to have a subscribe form for my main blog page which is fixaflawblog.com (which updates subscribers whenever I make a new post to the blog on the main page, (which include everything health and beauty related). But each new post I plan on seperating into individual categories as well such as fixaflawblog.com/skincare (or something similar) and having a seperate form of optin box on this page/category that updates these subscribers solely on skincare.

    Subscribe2 plug-in

People can subscribe to your site and only get updates on what they want to be updated on.

Is there a way that it can be set up how I had mentioned though? Automatically like?

Subscribe2 has a widget where people can enter in their email addresses for updates when you put something new up, then they can select what they want to receive updates on.

If that isn't what you had in mind, just build a new wordpress blog on a sub-domain for each sub-niche and use all the same stuff for it(theme and plug-ins that will be useful). Then use your preferred linking method to get people to those sub-sites.

A bit harder, but you end up with more control over what you are working on.

For your main site, post summaries with links to the main post in the sub-blog site.

Thanks for the further explanation, I would like the best overall control and functionality for the long-run so with what you said; which would you best prefer of the two?

I'm thinking you'll probably refer the latter of the two, no?

What exactly do you mean by this? I'm not all that familiar with WP yet but I'm learning

If you're using Aweber service, you can.

Aweber lets you build unlimited lists, so you can create a web form
for each category and have different follow-up messages also.

Well, I was kind've hoping I could hold off on aweber until I was able to afford it monthly. So I was wondering if this was possible to do strictly through WP, or with the html/theme through WP?

I think you may want to invest in autoresponder like profollow.com which is the private label of aweber. Because when you are going to shift your list, it'll be very very troublesome. And you don't want to do it until you have made money because you want to spend your time to scale your activities.

Profollow cost only $179 a year and allows you to hold 10,000 leads. That's quite a good investment and you definitely want to try it out for one year. Come on, it's only $179 to lose.

Autoresponder is something that you don't want to save money on.
