What type of paypal account?

Hi

I am new to warrior forums. I bought some WSOs here and i have to say they were impressive. The i upgraded to war room and i was blown away.

I would like to sell some PLRs or sell my services as a content creator at warrior forums. I have seen some people using the paypal button. Do i need to have a Premier/business account with paypal or can i use the paypal button to get paid using a personal account

thx in advance for the help =)

You will have to have a business account if you want to sell anything (do business, in other words)

The nice thing is that you only get charged a fee if you sell something.

If you have a separate bank account, you can keep a personal account with Paypal for when the transaction is not business related, but don't mix the two.

Not exactly. It's good to keep a "PayPal business account" and a "PayPal personal account" separate, but it's really for your own accounting purposes. I use a PayPal Personal Account in order to use the PayPal Micropayment Option and process roughly 4,000 eBay Payments a month for all orders less than a total of $11.00 USD across 7 different eBay accounts. And no, PayPal doesn't care if you use a personal account for business transactions.

I believe you can set up a Buy Now button with a personal account too, I am not 100% sure though. Would be useful if the WSO's you plan on selling are not more than $10.00

  • From an Accountant's point of view (that's me) and for future business book keeping, it'd be easier if you had a separate paypal account for business (each business) and personal use.

Thanks Alexa... that i do not know. I was really planning that way, open separate accounts for each business, so that it will not be hard to do the accounting come tax season...

Yeah, I have a different one for each business. None of my accounts are linked however, or share any of the same information, and do not appear to be from the same area. I spoke with PayPal one time and asked about two or three separate businesses, and they said as long as none of the information is the same as another, then it is alright but they would prefer me to only use one personal and one business.

It wasn't worth just operating one, it's not worth losing your business overnight because a payment processor's algorithim for holding and freezing funds and accounts.

No. They are just a payment processor. They will not track your taxes for you or send you a tax related statement of any kind.

You may want to consider more than one account, because otherwise you could find yourself in your own personal hell when trying to close your accounting.
