Selling Ebook by Google Checkout Vs Clickbank

Greets Warriors!

I have a new ebook (or e-course as I prefer to call it) that I am submitting for approval soon on Clickbank.

Because I would also like to do some self promoting of my site, I have started a second URL and have set up a Google Checkout version of the page.

I was very curious to know if anyone here has had experience with the general consumer response to the Google Checkout platform.

Are they intimidated by it?

Is the abandon rate higher than a conventional cart? Higher than Clickbank?

How do you feel about digital downloads and Google Checkout?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated

I would rather try paypal vs clickbank.

Of course Clickbank is better for its ability to recruit affiliates,
but I think if you want to promote it yourself and split test
payment options, you'll get better results with paypal.

I've never tried to sell (or buy) anything with google checkout, but would be interested to hear what people think of it.

What's your issue with promoting it yourself through clickbank? High fees or you just want to try another payment option?

If you've got a few different ways to promote it, make your own affiliate sales. It'll be good for tracking and help keep your gravity up.
