Need some Warrior advice on how to get things to the next level please

Hey Warriors,

First off, this by no means a self promotion and I'm genuinely looking for some advice to take this particular business the next level.

I have recently done a wso for my graphic design service and which is serving as a pre-launch to when I actually launch my main site later this month. The site aint ready yet, I'm actually completely revamping what is on there at the moment but am taking my time to gather a sweet portfolio with testimonials and reviews of the service through this wso.

What I want to ask is, How do I take this to the next level?

If you've checked out the wso, I'm offering rock bottom prices but those are only for Warriors and the pricing on the main website for this service is going to be much higher.

My main concerns would be, How do I get orders on a consistent basis through my website? I am planning on creating some generic minisite templates and generate leads and list through that. At the moment, I'm getting a few orders everyday from the wso but I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it up at the website.

Second question I'd like to ask you is, I want some kind of referral/affiliate system in place. I haven't seen much like that in a graphic design service [If you have, point me to it so that I can have a look]

I do sell digital products online and have affiliate programs running through clickbank and paydotcom but what would be the best way to go to have an affiliate system in place for this minisite design service?

I am asking because then I can JV and get affiliates on that basis and offer discounts if someone sends in referrals through their Blog or mailing or their product.

I am open to all kind of ideas and would like to have advice on how to get the maximum output out of this business.I plan on offering the Best creative designs with awesome communication and at the same time JV with some of the big names in the industry.

Thanks for your help

Maddi

My one penny worth would be to ask "Do you have a lot of testimonials with pictures on your webpage"?.
If you are looking to get testimonials have you considered doing jobs for free in exchange for testimonials?
Giving away some free jobs could bring you a lot of referral business.

Not knowing exactly what you have done to date, you might have done this already.

Here's an idea: approach a guru and offer to design them an entire minisite (or whatever their project requires) for free.

As long as you do great work for them, I wouldn't be surprised if that directly leads to more business from them and some of their friends.

    Good luck,

I would think the graphic design business would thrive both on and offline. Do you also have a local marketing plan in place? I would start out targeting small businesses also (plumbers, contractors, landscapers, beauty salons, etc.)

Yes I have provided website solutions for local business in the recent past and it brought in quite a handsome amount of cash. Unfortunately my lead gen. method required a lot of time and money and I couldn't concentrate on my other Online Endeavors.

If I can figure out another 'easy' or 'less work on my part' lead generation method I can sure restart my offline designs and consultations.

        Thanks Emma.

Pay ppl for the leads. If ppl could make 50% for just finding the leads, they'd find them.

Local work is finicky i know. Ppl dont understand the process as well and tend to need too much handholding.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.

Well not at the moment on my webpage because the site is in the construction mode but on my wso thread I've got some glowing reviews of warriors who have recently tried the service and also recieved a video testimonial. Which I will surely put on my website too once its finished.

      Thanks

That is part of the plan. Now i'm hunting for guru's :-)

But like I said, I'd also like to have some kind of affiliate structure in place too where I can offer discounts to customers send by certain people and at the same time offer commissions to the marketer who sent them. That way I will definitely increased my chances for being recommended.

      Thanks for the tip though

        Maddi,

This is not true. There are two things that can happen when someone finds a great service provider:

        1) They keep the identity of their service provider to themselves and use them as their secret weapon. OR
        2) They happily refer people to this person without expecting any compensation in return because it creates a win for everyone involved.

Don't bother with an affiliate program. Besides, why would you want to give away your hard-earned cash? Just focus on doing a good job

That is an interesting perspective. I hardly every keep anyones identity a secret. In fact I keep singing their songs whenever relevant and possible to help them get more clients without expecting anything in return.

Thankfully I am getting repeat customers already like you suggested. I am concentrating on doing a fabulous job.

          Thanks for tips everyone.
