What should I do with this Site? A Better question would be, What would you do with this site?

Hi Warriors,

I'm really don't have desire to vest the time into developing the site the way I originally had planned.

What else could I do with a site named UKMojo.com?
You can see the site here: Ukmojo.com

Originally it was to be a social site for people interested in the University of Kentucky Basketball and Football teams. (ie, sports Fans!)

What do you think I could convert the site into?
I'm drawing a blank at the moment but I really like the site name for some odd reason...lol

Thanks for your Tme.
Have a Great Day!
Michael

The first thing that comes to mind for me is "UK" as in "United Kingdom." Maybe something about the fascinating spots or interesting things in the UK.

Then again that might require more time to set up than your University of Kentucky site...and since you're from Kentucky you might not want to do that anyway!

I'm sure more clever people than me will chime in

Did you try selling it on the UK site?

It might fetch a decent price, I also agree that many warriors from the UK might also be interested in that domain.

      It's a nice one!

That's exactly what came to my mind first also... it's actually quite a catchy domain name that you have there... UKmojo.com has quite the potential and many possibilities.

I would definately change gears from Kentucky, to UK, the United Kingdom, maybe create a euro social network, football/soccer or Formula One oriented site... or something like Maxim magazine... is what I think of when I hear 'mojo'...

      food for thought...

      - Jared

I live in the U.S. but United Kindgdom came to mind for me as well.

Might be a touch difficult to do from Kentucky, but with a little research and assistance, I got ...

as directory type site for UK nightlife.

set up the site as a directory site for UK night clubs, "theatre", restaurants, etc. Allow visitors or members to submit the clubs and the reviews. You won't have to work so hard that way and the site could begin growing on its own.

    Just a quick thought.

That's the first thing I thought of when looking at the domain was a U.K. niche. Maybe you could find one that is heavily searched across the pond and turn it into something there. Be kind of cool to be making money from a site that is a niche that is thousands of miles away. Take some research though. Then again you could always sell it to a U.K. warrior.

I definitely think that you should market the site in the UK. It's the first thing I thought of too.

A quick search on the word "mojo" brought up many different UK sites, and a Wiki search for mojo brought up about African Americans.

A lot of the UK sites were based around music and bars. If you're not interested in spending time developing the site, why not setup a forum, maybe music and nightlife oriented? Let the community build the content, and monetise it with affiliate links.

There doesn't appear to be any Adsense for the term mojo, but I have lists of UK affiliate networks on UK Affiliate Programs, if you want to join one. There are some drink and gadget related merchants at Affiliate Window.

I'm with Heman on this - Austin Powers and the phrase "mojo working" sprang immediately to my mind.

Found this on Phrases.org.uk "In the early 20th century mojo meant voodoo or magical power, specifically one which gave the mojo's male possessor a sexual power over women. More recently, this has been extended to mean power or influence of any kind."

So a site on how to seduce her perhaps. Raunchy but not p***o.

Hi Warriors, Thanks for all the replies!

It appears that I need to convert this site into something else.

Could a few more Warriors from the United Kingdom chime in and
suggest what you think the site could/should become based on
your knowledge from the other side of the pond?

        Thanks,
