Currently submitting my article to both eZine and UAW. I am thinking of unsubscribing with UAW though as it seems to have little effect now.

Thanks for your response - When you say "I am thinking of unsubscribing with UAW though as it seems to have little effect now" what do you mean?

Little effect in bringing you traffic or in creating backlinks?

      Thanks..

I am into Amazon affiliate marketing so I normally target long tail keywords. I mainly use UAW for the backlink effect as traffic generated from UAW tends to be pretty bad in terms of quality and conversion. A year ago, UAW would push most of my websites up by a few pages for the main keywords on Google. Nowadays, it seem to have no effect on my website SERPs at all :/

Interesting. Do you spin the articles and mix up the keyword anchored text to help maximize back link juice? Maybe Google is assuming duplicate content and providing little link juice to the majority of your back links? I wonder if others are noticing a similar trend.

Yep. I probably have 12 -15 different possible anchor links for every UAW article I submit and I also target some of these UAW anchor links to a few of my posts, not just the main page.

Finally, someone agrees with me - I used UAW for a little less than a month and with no effect - yes many of the articles syndicated are indexed but well it ends there pretty much.

Same situation here. $60 a month is proving to be quite a liability now.

I wouldn't blame UAW for that. They do their work
well - syndicating your articles. What members
should do to get better results is to promote
and get backlinks to the indexed articles
            . That
will end up improving the results of their submissions.

Sadly however not many can also do that. That's
why I created my ArticlesCRUSH system, to not
just submit articles for members to my network
of article directories but ALSO go a step further
to also promote and get backlinks to the members'
            submitted articles!

It will be a good idea if more article distribution
            services start implementing my ArticlesCRUSH's
model... article marketers will be the better for it.

I don't doubt that indexing and even more SEO-ing the syndicated articles (at least some of them) ought to dramatically increase your main (money) site's search results - I have never done that but I see every reason that it should work.

The question is - how much SEO do you do? Aren't we talking about SEO-ing 50+ new articles every day? How practical is that? I don't know about others, but I would be a dead human if I tried to do that.

And if one is considering only the indexing of the syndicated articles - I have my reservations. Publishing on UAW is seen to indexe 1/6th to 1/7th of articles expected to have been syndicated, in my experience. So, around 7 UAW articles without applying an index system would be 1 article with index system. Do I expect to see good results by publishing many articles that would be lost deep down the stack? Personally I would not. But I agree that whatever tiny x value is passed on by the default UAW article, an indexing system would still give a power of anywhere 6x to 7x of that, just going by my experience. However personally I would not go ahead with UAW just because of existence of such systems.

Well, I was considering getting one of these services mainly for back link development but based on this feedback, I may want to re-evaluate..
