How Did I Get a PR 9 Page?

INTERNET MARKETING

I know this is a fluke, but I can't recall the explanation given for why this happens. My site is not ranked at all. Yet, this morning I published a blog post refuting the claim that ALL work from home opportunities are a scam and, suddenly, the page for that particular post is ranking at a 9! Can someone explain to me why this happened? I'm not complaining, lol, I just want to learn.

Wait, you are saying the PageRank is 9 or it's ranked position 9 in Google for it's targeted keyword?

Probably a bug with the PR toolbar you are using. Sometimes the database gets confused.

PR updates every 90 days approximately, so it's unlikely a page will ever gain visible Page Rank on the same day you post.
