Do you have any favourite good examples of non IM blogs?

I am putting together a report for my subsribers and am trying to provide examples of good non IM related blogs.
The sites must be well maintained by the owners and include an opt-in box, evidence of social networking, videos and reviews as well as good content.
Good business models I have already found that incorporate good marketing skills and regular updates are related to:
Acne, New mothers, the iphone and Bad backs.
If you have any examples that you can recommend please either PM me or if allowed post here (however I am not sure if the links will be allowed?)
