How long per day should I spend on promoting my blog?

I am using:

Articles(1 a day, submitted to several directories)
Videos( a few dozen a month. Basic video slide style videos)
Forum commenting(not spam)-active on 5 niche forums
Blog commenting(not spam)-5 niche blogs

I want to spend most of my time promoting. How many hours a day is enough so I will not burn out?

How long is most of your time? What results are you seeing from what you are doing?

It helps to prevent burn out if you look after your self as well.
Take frequent breaks, drink pure water and less tea and coffee.
Eat regular healthy meals and don't rely on unhealthy snacks.
Get regular restful sleep and don't forget to get some exercise.

There I must sound like your mother!

I've always prefered to write 2-3 articles a week, instead of one every day. Plus you don't seem to have any of your time devoted to social networking, so if you did remove some of the time it takes to write an article every day of the week, you could start promoting your blog on twitter or facebook as well.

Well I think when your trying to market something that Facebook and Twitter or both good, but Twitter is better. I suppose that it depends on what you are trying to market, but I have experienced more success with Twitter than with Facebook.

If you are going to use either of them, make sure you have the ability to track your results, otherwise you could end up wasting your time and not even know it.
