Hey Everyone,

I recently came upon a great domain name for the Twilight niche. I was so shocked that is was available, I had to spend the $7. So now I have a developed site in the Twilight niche, and I'm trying to decide the best way to promote it.

I've been working with the on page optimization, so I would expect it to rank up rather quickly, but until then what do you recommend as the best way to promote a site in this niche?

I'm leaning towards Facebook, but it would be really embarrassing if I suggested a Twilight page to all of my friends...

Thanks in advance.

I'm a guy who has never the seen the movie, but I have promoted CPA offers relating to Twilight and made money with it.

You don't have to be part of that niche to promote that niche.

What kind of domain? Is it about graphics, content, or news about the movie?

What about Twilight Eclipse wallpaper, facebook layouts, ring tones, etc? You monetize that using CPALead.

It all depends on the "sub niche" within Twilight now...

I'm promoting merchandise. The domain name is a great fit. Adding CPAleads on there is a good idea though. Are all of your Twilight CPA offers from CPALead?

I don't see any Twilight offers on XY7 or Neverblue.

If it's for merchandise, perhaps an Adsense and/or Amazon affiliate site would work.

CPALead are good for digital products relating stuff to unlock (templates, wallpaper, audio, etc) that relates to Twilight and the surveys are general. It's the content most users are after.

Maxbounty has an offer relating to Twilight - I have used a press release to for that.

I've completely set it up using Amazon Affiliate. I think some CPA leads would be great for the sidebar though. I'll check with Maxbounty.

Thanks a lot for the help!

    Interesting thread.

Seems like you're on the tail end of the trend since the final movie is coming out this month.

    That might not be good.

I'm curious about how you're going to monetize the site.

Ebay's affiliate program with Auction Ads may be your best bet on getting some big commissions. Dunno.

It's going to be a tough one to promote. A lot of grinding it out...

    ...

I wouldn't pull the trigger on doing it, but good luck with it.

There's 16 days until the new movie, so I'm hoping to get a piece of that. I'm not familiar with Twilight, but isn't there a fourth one as well?

If so, I think I have a solid domain for the next year or so.

Oh no the final movie is not coming out this month, there are TWO more!! Can you tell I'm a fan!!! I would think you could have a lot of fun with that niche but it is going to be mostly female and younger audience...I went to the midnight showing of the last Twilight movie and it was 98% female and 90% under 25 in my theater at least!

Keep me posted on your site..would love to check it out!!

Seriously? I thought it was just a trilogy.

    Here's another way to monetize...

I went to Comic Con and grab a whole bunch of Twilight posters...and then sold it on ebay...

Fangs for the Memories: Final ‘Twilight’ Movie Split in Two - ArtsBeat Blog - NYTimes.com

Summit Entertainment, the movie studio behind the “Twilight” films, will release the film version of “Breaking Dawn” as two separate movies, The Hollywood Reporter said. Both will be directed by Bill Condon (“Gods and Monsters,” “Dreamgirls”) with the first part to be released on Nov. 18, 2011, and the second planned for the following year. The third, less strange movie in the cycle, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” will be released on June 30.

Wow, I knew the books and movies were extremely popular with girls, but I had no idea there was such a thing as a Twilight niche.

WOW 2 movies for the last book!! plus the hype over the June 30 movie will last until a few months after the DVD release ! so i think a perfect time to get in to the Niche ... still a newbie but isnt there a Amozon affiliate program because if there is. just promoting the books and dvds if you rank highly on the keyword could make a lot of money

Adding the Twilight word in everything that you offer might get you good results in the search engines since it's so popular in Hollywood. Well, haven't thought someone like you could take that advantage to finally come up with the "Twilight" niche so more power to that twilight touch in making a successful living online.
