3 websites and no clue how to make sales

Dear Warriors:

Hi, I have three websites (see links below) but I have no Idea on how to drive traffic so they're just sitting around collecting dust.

What can I do to start driving traffic FAST and make sales TODAY?

Do you recommend and products or WSO's? If so, which ones?

Thanks in advanced.

Write unique content for them all, Dont copy other sites, submit to search engines! find what keywords you want to target, long tail keywords will be easier to rank. Submit to social media sites i like digg and get great results off that site, maybe some directory listings, write some articles and get them sent out to article sites. You could start a blog for each site they are good for links and traffic, also idealy any links you get should be related to the niche!

Find out what your main keyword(s) is for each site, preferable one that is in the domain name and one that is not too crazy to rank for. Then do link building using your keyword as the anchor.
Not the fastest way, but longer term sustainability.

Google AdWords can help you achieve this target.

I always recommend Press Release and Free Classified Ads.
Write articles only if you are good in writing. Otherwise you can hire someone to write for you. If you can do a lot of work then go for blog commenting and forum posting. It will give you a long term benefit.

I would start by making relevant posts on forums. Add a signature in your posts with a link back to your website. Should see some good clickthroughs with a quality post.

Have you tried bookmarking individual pages/articles on your site? I use OnlyWire (the free service) to mass submit articles to Twitter, Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon and many others. It's a great way to get backlinks, especially if you have any social networking profiles with followers.

    I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going to soon;
Set up google alerts for the keywords or questions you want to be able to answer, when you get a responce from the google alert, go there and post an informative, helpful reply, then link back to your page.
From what I understand, this should keep you pretty busy, and google alerts is straight out of google index, so anything that google index's is listed. Oh, also try to use "quotes", so you know that someone is asking a question directly at your product. Ie, your stock product... if someone posts, "I love stock cars", you don't want that alert, but if they say, "i need stock help", then you're good to go.

Just my $.02, I'm setting up my alerts today, and hope to start seeing results myself soon.

good luck, we are in the same boat actually...

Judging from your post, you are on the LOOOOONG road of learning what and how to do. The answers you read above are just standalone tips which probably work well for guys (and girls) that suggested them. However, not all traffic types and sources work for every market and every niche. SEO is generally a good choice, but it takes time, it takes effort (especially if you do it on your own). PPC on the other side is fast, but if you don't know what you are doing (and I bet you don't) you can quickly burn your money with little to no results.

There is no1 here that can give you simple and easy answer to your question. It is entirely on you to succeed. For example, in my case it took me more than a year to make a single stupid affiliate commission of 30$!!! This is where we come to determination and not giving up. During that time there were countless times when I thought that I will never make a sale, that I will never make money online etc. However I was stubborn and determined. There was nobody to help me, I pretty much connected the dots and done the job all by myself, it took a lot of tears and blood for where I am nowadays. I still can't live from this Internet thing, but I am on the steady road to it.

The same is in your case - it's easy to create a website, really. The hard part is how to get traffic, and like I said there is no easy and straightforward answer to that.

You will either start learning, reading studying until your brain blows up and eyes start bleeding (and even THEN you won't stop) or you will just give up.

    The choice is yours!

I think you went about this backwards. Before even making a site, you should see:
    1) is there traffic to be had
    2) can I siphon off some of that traffic

To do this, you need to understand keyword research, as well as traffic generation in general (otherwise you will not be able to judge your ability to tap into that traffic).

I know, it's a bit of a "chicken or the egg" syndrome type of thing.. the good news - you obviously aren't the type who's afraid to take action and who would rather spend a year (or many) just over analizing everything w/o ever even building a site. My advice: don't pin all of your hopes on these first attempts, and just keep pushing forward, doing/learning.

For quick traffic you can implement media buys and ppc. But if you don't have the money to burn for that you can try ezine articles and press releases.

When you find the answer then you can share it with the rest of us. It takes a long time to absorb all the information you can find on this forum and many have learnt to thier cost that there is no short cut or panasea. You will see advertisments that will profess to give you the answers in return for your parting with your hard earned cash BUT the truth is the best way forward is to read and re search and learn for your self Good Luck!

    OK lets go with breastcancerawareness.com
Local Search Count (UK) 33,100 (Sounds good.)
    Global Search : 60,500
    Exact Phrase Count : 3,330,000
Ad Cost : 2.62 (this all looks good so far but)
Errrr OCI (Online Commercial intent) 10% (not looking so good anymore)
SOC (Strength of competition) : 293,000 (ugh)
There are tools that will help you to fight your way to the top of the SERPS with this but tbh there are lots of easier niches to work with

    Good luck and best wishes.

If you don't have a clue as to what to do you're not very likely to make any sales today.

the process to get Search Engine traffic is fairly simple but it sure takes some work.

The absolute best way to rank for any keyword is to write real high quality content that's both optimized for the search engines and provide real value to visitors.

A good article can give a nice income for several years if monetized properly.

Go for high quality content, that's my advice.

Then just start building backlinks, I bet you can find a lot of posts on this forum regarding backlinking.

    Just get to work :-)
