Enough of the Low or Zero cost ideas - What would you do if you had $2000 to invest?

Let's have some ideas here folks.

I get a it sick of all of the zero investment type stuff (not to say it won't or doesn't work) but there are some people out here that are willing to throw some money into projects or businesses.

Heck, $2000 isn't that much, especially when you consider all of the money people 'claim' to be making.

So if you had $2k to invest what would you be doing?

Ramp it up a bit if you like, 5k, 10k etc.

Hold on to it and do research in a proven market; (which you'd have to do the research to prove it); to find one of their "must solve now" problems and find a developer that can/would develop a solution for the $2K instead of spending it right away.

Just like in any industry... there are workers and investors. Either can carry on their roll wrong.

If you're positioning yourself as an investor; invest wisely.

It depends on what your business model is. Personally I'd advertise for leads/subscribers. For $2000 you should be able to get 4000 leads/subscribers for your business. Once you get a return on your investment from product sales you can do it all over again.

A great investment is in Domain Names. The real money is in what people will buy in the now and near future. 3DTV's are hot but mostly all of the good names are taken so jump to the next big thing or the hottest new thing. BP for oil news is raking in the traffic and as long there's news the will always be domain names.
