Is creating many Facebook Accounts from on ip an criminal offense ?

Hello Everyone

Maybe the question is wired but still forced me to think.

I have made many Facebook Accounts. One of my friend told me that "Creating lots of Facebook Accounts from same ip is an offense and may get punished". I just wanna know that is it really true ?

          If you read Facebooks TOS you will see you are not allowed to have more than one for yourself. But really unless you are doing something that brings it to their attention they aren't looking that hard. In the long run it bolsters their numbers and those numbers increase ad revenue. And no it isn't criminal or civil offense. It can just get your accounts closed.
