Clickbank is not working

by jimewing2121 12 replies
I have been marketing several products using clickbank for over a month now and I am seeing no results. So I have a serious question for everyone. Is clickbank working for you and is there something else that everyone else out there is doing that I am not?

I am selling keyword elite on my SEO site and I am marketing water4free on my squidoo lens. I am receiving a bit of traffic ( around 100 in a month for lens and 400 a month for SEO site) but have not seen one sale. What is everyone else doing that I am just not getting?

    Jimewing2121,

Perhaps you can try promoting more products (for diversification) and using more varied methods for promoting each of these products/niches.

Personally, out of every 15 days, I will experience a max of 2 days without sales on clickbank alone and I suspect that's because of what I just suggested to you.

    All the best.

P.S Oh ... and adopt the "Thomas Edison" attitude.

Clickbank is working fine. I have had a record week the past week. It really depends on what kind of visitors you are attracting. What keywords are you targeting? 100-400 a month is not really much traffic. You need to step up your marketing efforts and shoot for 100 unique visitors a day.

Yes it is working fine for me too.

You need to look at the way you are promoting the product. Traffic won't automatically convert you know!

As what you have isn't working try using

    a) a review site comparing similar products (3 max)
    or
    b) give away a sample product in the same theme and collecting email addresses, then send out emails doing your promotion.

both of these usually have better responses

the water to gas site looks ok to me. How are you marketing it? You could be selling solid gold sex for $1, but if nobody knows where you are, you're not making any sales

plus, you might also want to throw in other clickbank items that are in the same vein. People who are going to be interested in making gas from water are going to be d.i.y. guys and gals. They will be the people intersted in stuff like how to make biodiesel, how to make solar panels..etc.

    Play to the crowd.

Jimi, I can't believe nobody has brought this up in their replies.

Your traffic is abysmal. How can you expect to make any sales with 100
visitors to one site and 400 to another?

It's not enough traffic to make any kind of determination.

I believe the third post pointed that out.

I guess my eyes are going bad. I just completely missed it.

          Yeah, what he said.

          Sorry about that.

I'll grant you the 100, but after 400 visitors he should've seen at least a couple of sales.

I believe that is 400 visitors to his site not 400 hops to the vendor. If no one is clicking the link to go to the vendor site, it doesn't matter how much traffic your site is getting you still won't be getting any sales.

400 visitors is not enough to make a judgement that something won't work. Just focus on increasing your own traffic for now, and eventually you'll be making more sales than you know what to do with. Just keep putting out really good information that benefits your readers. Don't worry about making money yet. Just focus on good quality content and benefiting your readers. Your traffic will grow and when you have enough traffic, then you can start sliding in some affiliate links, and the sales will explode.

Jim, the only problem I see is with the quality of your presell pages.

As a potential customer of the product you are promoting, I would like to know what YOUR experiences are with the products.

I don't care if the product works for Guru X, Guru Y or Guru Z 'cause I cannot relate to them and neither can you based on the content I read so why should I purchase what you are promoting?

What you have going for you is... YOU!

That's money 'cause the intended audience would have an easier time relating to you rather than someone they already know is universally successful.

This is very important because the key to a great presell is knowing who the intended audience for the product is and KNOWING everything about them.

Once you know the ideal prospects for the product then you can create various customer persona's (profiles) in which you will write to their emotional hot buttons.

To be effective with your presell, you should be writing with the intent that you are writing to only one person rather than a general audience like you're doing now.

I've seen your video on YT... yeah, I'm sneaky that way... but aside from the content in the video, what I found that would help you turn the corner in sales is if you would inject your story and use the charisma and positive energy that you displayed in the video which will help your prospects relate to you on a human level and also, cheer you on so they too can be successful like you.

You know what's missing from KE?

A step-by-step system for implementing the cool features that the software offers to MAKE MONEY for beginners!

WIIFM - I would purchase KE from you because I can relate to you and your IM journey, I find you to be honest and charismatic (trust develops), I need a mentor but more so, a proven SYSTEM to use the tool to its fullest potential to see the results that you are talking about.

You don't have to make thousands per day, just show that the product is working for you... a real person.

Now, you could presell by telling your story before and after you discovered KE (including tangible, honest results for credibility sake) via blogging about your own case study (experiences, good and bad) with KE implemented into your affiliate system.

As far as your affiliate system goes, keep that to yourself instead of spilling it in your blog for now.

Instead, offer it as a bonus (filled with back-end upsells) to whomever purchases through your aff link. Also, follow-up with some short videos to show how you use the tool and other tricks you've learned along the way to save the prospect time and money.

By all means dude, get yourself an autoresponder so you can capture these folks who identify with you and want to be in your position in a week, month, year.... those folks will serve you very well when you have other products to promote down the line.

Build trust relationships with your customers and they'll be raving fans (repeat lifetime customers) of yours for life.

When you tell a story, people naturally begin to place themselves into the protagonist's position and it's only when they begin to imagine themselves in that happy place is when you have the greatest chance at making the sale via preselling.

Here's a free resource from the good doctor which will enlighten you and know that the content is still as valid today as it was when it was written - http://mycps.sitesell.com/download/mycps-free.pdf

    Cheers!

    man, you need more traffic

    100 visitors a month is 3 visitors a day

lets say 1 of each 300 should buy your product - hypothetically speaking
you have a potential of 0.01% of sale.

i am a newbie in the marketing too, but you have to understand a vital point.
no traffic = no sales, not even a 0.01% potential of a sale

    good luck
