Hi I see that wordpress 3.0 is out can I just click update and everything will update will my plug INS still work I have never upgraded wordpress thank you

I'd hold off if your site is important. Wait and see if anyone has issues with your plugins.

That said, I just saw the video HERE and it does look very sexy. I'll upgrade on one of my crappy sites to have a play with it.

  They have been in development of this for quite some time so I would imagine most plugins have had a good chance to get ready for this.
  
  That being said, nothing like this is ever without some little bugs here and there. I am sure those bugs that are found will be quickly dealt with.
  
  Just remember, the owners of these plugins have just as much reason to get them working seamlessly with the new version - there is a lot of plugin competition out there and they won't want to risk losing users of their plugins.
  
  BTW, the new standard theme looks pretty damn cool. I hated the old one.

  Here is a link to what the new 'standard' wordpress theme looks like in Wordpress 3.0.
  
  It's called 'Twenty Ten'. To me it looks strikingly similar to the standard thesis theme. Note: The header image at the top is very easily changed.

Multi-level navigation on a horizontal bar as standard! That will dramatically increase or decrease support requests!
