I don't use EZA. I agree with Alexa though....a quick glance over their TOS would give you an answer.

why would you want more than one...you can create as many pen names (and profiles) as you wish within one account.

EXACTLY... There is absolutely no need to have multiple accounts. I can have a single account where I use multiple pen names like:

        Joe Smith
        Sue Korman
        Tom Harris
        Jim Harmon
        etc.

Each pen name is allowed to have their own author bio where you can place links to different client sites if you write for multiple clients. This is a great way to separate your client articles.

The advantage to using one account is that you only have to achieve platinum status ONCE. I did it for free by writing 10 articles which required NO edits on the part of the editorial staff at EzineArticles. Others do by submitting 35 articles or paying for it.

If I had 10 accounts I would need to achieve platinum status 10 times... (so 100 articles with no edits, 350 articles w/ edits, or pay 10 times)...

I don't see the logic in wanting multiple accounts.

I like how you attach a pen name to a client as I think that is a great way to stay organized. I do something similar where I attach a pen name to a niche.

Right now I have about 14 pen names and this may sound weird but when I begin writing under each pen name I try and detach from my real self in order to become my pen name. I have found that this helps with the creative process involved with writing.

You can have one account and as many pen names with that account as
you like, so there is no need to have multiple accounts.

Word of caution on choosing pen names. Don't choose any that are tied
into real people, either living or dead, that are or were writers.

For example, Mark Twain is going to get you banned in a heartbeat.

We do not allow more than ONE account per Human. Creating multiple accounts could result in all of your accounts being removed and banned.
Those who say they have more than one account are actually against the tos..

You can only have one, but I've heard of many getting away with more than one account. Its just a matter of time before ezine catches up to the trends and unleashes the ban hammer.

  • I agree with Alexa. You should only have ONE. When in doubt, always check the Terms of Service EVERYWHERE before doing anything. If you start asking around you will get varying answers because NOT everyone READS the terms of service and NOT everyone even follows rules.

Those who claim to have multiple accounts may be doing so under different aliases and emails. But, if they are posting from the same IP it may come back to hunt them. So I always say, if you have doubts or if you feel there is something weird or shady, JUST DON'T DO IT!
