Can't give advice but would still like some

INTERNET MARKETING

I said this morning I had reached page 4 on Google in my niche.

I did another search and was second on page 1 WOW.
The difference in the Google search is:-
Get rid of *****now page 1
and
Get rid of ***** page 4
Why?

One reason could be that
Get rid of *****now
is a more restricted term (thus, there are less results) than
Get rid of *****

By the way, how many total results were in the both cases?

  The reason would be because...
  
  Get rid of ***** now - adds an extra keyword, less competition/results
  Get rid of ***** - one less keyword, more competition/results
  
  I try to usually hover around 5 myself, but
  in some cases 3 and 4, even 6 sometimes!
