Anybody else do "IM Giveaways?"

I've participated in a bunch of IM giveaways in the past and have used them to add a significant number of leads to my list, but all with mixed results.

In a few weeks I'm hosting my own giveaway and am interested to see how many other Warriors have hosted or participated in these types of giveaways, the types of results you've had, and any suggestions at all you could pass along to help me make mine a success.

I have about 3 weeks to go until mine kicks off and am mainly interested in suggestions or ideas for recruiting JV contributors between now & then...

Thanks,

Chris

You might want to create a report about your previous results in giveaways, make sure you provide true quality content and explain how your efforts affected your bottom line.

Once you have your report ready, give away your report to other product owners (you might even consider a free wso) and invite them to join your giveaway...

Just remember if you are hosting your own giveaway, think first of your customers/subscribers, then your JV partners, then yourself...

    Hope this helps,

    Guillermo

PS: PM with details of your upcoming event.

I can only agree! Unfortunately, most giveaway managers seem to think different.

Maybe a good tip: communicate with both your partners and your members. Tell them what to do, where to promote etc.

Check out the JV giveaways directory (link in my sig) to read about my experiences, find links to some info tools that could be useful (like 'the Giveaway Code for Giveaway Managers'), and much more about JV Giveaways

B.t.w, Chris, if you have any specific questions, feel free to contact me.
I've run 3 giveaways, and had my share of problems with them.

Your giveaway announcement blogs is pretty sweet.

Most of the blogs I've seen are really amateurish looking compared to yours. Nice work.
