I have 900 plr but I can't sell

The truth about PLR articles is practically nobody will buy them -
they are included, by the 10s of 1000s, as bonuses in many PLR
packages.

Find a product to sell that people want.

If your PLR is verified original (as in written by you) and it is superior
in quality, there may be a market for it. Most PLR articles stink so
bad it is easier for a decent writer to just write from scratch than
mess with rewriting the PLR.

Also - start thinking of how you can use PLR to sell to consumers,
not other marketers. The market is crowded with marketers who only
want to sell to other marketers but have no idea how to sell to
end users. My advice is not to be one of them.

I'm glad all Internet Marketers don't have the same opinion of PLR as you have! Yes, many PLR articles stink but there are quite a few Warriors here who write and sell PLR that is good quality, AND they make their living selling it to marketers who "get it".

In addition, selling PLR to other marketers is precisely who a PLR writer sells PLR to. PLR writers sell shovels. In otherwords, they offer content for a reasonable price for other marketers who need content and are happy to pay for it.

OP - In regards to the 900 articles, you're on the right track talking about using them for content on your site or autoresponder. You could also offer them as a freebie to build your optin list.

Valid point Peggy but I still think Loren's advice is sound. In the time it takes to write and resarch all those articles more money can be made creating your own product.

My advice is to re-write the articles and sell them on Constant Content. If you have decent articles and know how to present the information in a way that is different they will sell and each one can make you $30 - $200 depending on how well it sells.

The one thing is you article must be of a high standard to get into Constant Content.

I don't sell PLR but I do buy them.

Look 2 posts up at how Peggy is selling them in her wso.

That is how I buy them. I don't have time to rewrite 900 articles in a bunch of niches.

I have time to rewrite 10 specific articles. I usually only need 10 at a time.

So you could break up your articles into small niche packs and sell em low.
Maybe have a super deal mentioned as well. Get all 900 for $25 that might be tempting.

Breaking them up or adding value is probably your best bet.

You can't sell them in a WSO though unless you add some unique twist to them ..... like make them into an ebook or a website.

WSO's are only for products you created. (Actually I'm not even sure if you could sell them there if you turned them into an ebook even?)

Just to share my experience with PLR and why i ended up buying it and that might be the case why no one buys them from you.
The "easy-PLR money" myth has long gone and IMers you try to sell it to
know well that PLR needs good work and packaging before it becomes a candy to sell.The only exception is when you use PLR's as a free opt-in bait
to build a list and then sell them something of a higher class afterwards.

So,if you're ready to spend time to re-write and make a PLR look original,you can end up having your won product.
For fast action,use them as freebies - otherwise,you'll most likely be wasting your time trying to sell them as they are and in the best case will be rewarded with couple of sales here and there.

Rewrite them and turn them into themed article quality packs and sell it. That way you will end up having a unique product of your own and not like every tom, dick and harry who is selling a bundle for just a few dollar or even giving it away for free.

I have this exact same PLR pack or should i say had, outdated and poorly written to say the least. I couldn't delete it fast enough! seriously if you want to get into the PLR game then do it the right way. create a membership site offer your members 60 or more unique articles every month and either write or pay someone to write them for you. there are plenty of affordable writers right here on the forum. Hell im one of them. most of the PLR trash that people waste time peddling isnt worth the drive space they take up. By far the best way to make money in any market is to give people what they want and need and to OVER deliver on the goods

I do not like PLR stuff. I think, most of the internet marketers do not like it.
People get it free of cost with the product and no one would like to spend any money on that.

On the other hand, rapidshare, sharecash and mediafire is full of that kind of stuff. So, why anyone will buy it from you?

The problem with PLR is if I buy it from you for $10 I then have the rights to give it away.

There was some guy on here with his 9700 article pack giving it away - not even an opt-in required.

I think these things have more perceived value if they have fewer articles. Ironically!

Give them away for free. Create a page where they get them for free by joining your mailing list. Then use the list to make some cash.

I've never sold PLR articles but I use them all the time as seed articles for website content. It provides an immediate starting point and revision is usually easy.

The problem is that PLR varies a lot in quality and even the best of it needs to be rewritten to be of value. Personality almost always needs to be injected.

Having said that, PLR has saved me a ton of time throughout the years in terms of coming up with ideas for website content, and that is where I would suggest that you use it.

Keep it on your hard drive because you never know when you'll need it, and if you do sell it recognize that your price needs to be rock bottom, to the point of absurdity.

For each niche, turn the articles into ebooks and sell or give them away. Just add a new introduction and conclusion to each ebook to make them unique and to bring the contents together.

You can use them to:

build your own opt-in list
spread your links around (viral marketing)
submit the books to free ebook sites
sell each or the entire collection at dirt cheap ($3) on eBay to build your own buyer list
offer them to marketers with PLR and MRR rights
add them to your own offers as bonuses
use them for content on your own blogs, Squidoo pages, Hub Pages and any other web sites you run.
Gather together more PLR ebooks and add the articles to the bundle and sell that
sell the ebooks to consumers interested in those niches
use them as upsells when someone buys from you. Send them to another sales page featuing one of your books or several in one niche, before sending them to the download page for the original purchase.

Those are some ideas to get you started.
