Is this a black hat seo method or not?
Now, wordpress treats the new html pages just like any other page on the blog, which is especially useful for getting it pinged. Here is the problem, you have to copy all the text from your salespage, etc and place it in a "post" linked to that salespage so that wordpress and all the plugins can work their SEO luv.
Google and the other search engines see the text in the "post" but visitors see the HTML Salespage. I got to thinking, and I realised that I could add some more relevant keywords to the post since no-one would be really reading it.
The extra keywords might be a bit to much on the real HTML salespage, but in the "post" just for the search engines it would help the pages ranking. The more I thought about it, the more I realised, hey I could turn it into a 800 page article with relevant keywords to the salespage.
I could go even further and put a wordpress blog in a specific niche, use the general settings in wordpress to make the html sales page the front page, and then fill up the blog behind it with keyword rich posts and pages.
The thing is when does this cross the line and become black hat?
My mind is reeling with possibilities and I could really do with some help here resetting my moral compass.
