How To Make Money With Your Blog

How are you currently monetizing your blog?

Adsense and affiliate marketing is good, however I think that more money can be making selling ad space and posts using pay per post.

Is anyone doing pay per post monetization?

I know couple of people, who make a killing from it by selling 200 word posts from $15-50 per post. If you are good writer or can just check what people offer you, it can be another way to get unique content.

Digital Point forum actually has a section, where you can offer that.

I recently requested some pay per posts and within 2 hours I had over 50 offers.

Integrate a 'resources' section, into your blog.

Was thinking about the pay per post monetization method myself recently. What kind of traffic do you get on this site?

To be honest, I'd be happy getting quality guest posts on my blog which I wouldn't charge for (incentive would be author box) unless I had tons of traffic but I can see how this can be profitable.

Sadly, don't think it would work on a blog with low traffic.

The beauty is that you can use this strategy to promote your site as well, you can put posts on PR4 websites for about $10.

You pretty need enough traffic and sponsor running to make profit from your blog. I do know some people who get paid by posting article or writing useful tips. What is your current traffic Alex? Good luck!

I have a number of blogs. My business one has about 20-60 people per day. The blog is very niched though.

With some of my football blogs I sometimes get 5000 people per day coming to one blog.

Having a page rank gets people interested in having a post of your site

Actually it depends on how you "sell" products via your blog and how your subscribers and readers deal with them. Well for me, affiliate marketing is far more profitable by getting huge commissions rather than PPC.

I believe some niches convert with affiliate programs and others convert more with adsense. Pay per post should be a complimentary income, not a main stream.

I have been monetizing my blog with affiliate programs. I never thought about a pay per post strategy. It's a great way to make some extra money after establishing your audience. Thanks for sharing this strategy with us it's something I'm definitely checking in to.

My blog is currently membership only on one side with some free articles linking to the "subscribe" page on the free section. What I'm toying back and forth with is putting AdSense on the free section and leaving it off the paid section. My only hesitation is that the ads might detract from my blog's main purpose - to attract subscribers.

I will try to put together the methods:
    1. PPC, like adsense, adbrite etc
    2. Ad banner
    3. Pay per post
    4. Affiliate
    5. Membership

I think link sales is good too. It can give some money. Usually it based on yearly fee.
