Clickbank hops but no sales

I have about 9 articles up on EZA and they got around 160 views. my resource box goes to my site which automatically redirects to a clickbank product I'm promoting, a product which is the most popular in it's area and has a high gravity. So far from 67 hops I have 0 sales.

I know these stats are quite low as it is just an article marketing experiment at the moment but, would it be excessive to expect at least 1 sale?

Maybe I need to change the niche and product.

It could be a multitude of things but I would give it another wee while before you decide if anything is wrong. It can take up to 200 hops or more before you see a sale or you could get a sale with one hop. It honestly is too early to tell.

Keep promoting, writing and getting your content out there. If you have done your homework on the product itself and if it is selling well, then there shouldn't be a problem there. If you articles are providing some value to the customers and read well with a tasty resource box, then carry on with that.

Use other forms of marketing and don't limit yourself to Ezine articles and you may also want to create a landing page and review the product and get the reader into the buying mood so to speak.

Way too early to call this one yet. Give it at least a few hundred hops. You could have no sales for the first 150 hops and then get 4 sales in the next 50 hops. You need to let things run their course a little longer before you go swapping out offers. Good luck!

I would keep writing more articles, turn on google analytics to see what people are doing, and give it more time. 67 hops is not enough to show us theres a problem, however if you want to send me the links to some of your stuff in PM i'd be glad to check it out.

So you did a little pre-sell and a squeeze, so you are starting a list to follow up with right? After some of the other "stories" about CB here, don't put all your eggs in that basket.

Thankfully the other clickbank occurrences don't seem to happen to everyone and not usually till the account has aged a little.

No, havent started a list as yet (I know I should) but my resource box dowsnt go to a squeeze page, it goes direct to the affiliate page. I'm following a program I found in a report called the Bounce Effect by 1 of the warriors on here.

I'll keep writing and hopefully something comes through, justw asnt sure on how long it might possibly take. This is the product: Get The Workouts | KettlebellWorkouts.com | Kettlebell Workouts For Fat Loss | Fat Loss Workouts | Kettlebell Training | Quick Home Workouts | Workouts For Busy People (non affil link) and it has some heavy hitting endorsement from industry magazines such as "Mens Health" etc.

There are so many variables that come into play when looking at conversion rates that it can be really difficult identifying the reason for no conversions:
    • Converting cold leads is very hard
    • Quality of the salesletter/video
    • Lead quality
    • If you did a product review, did you get the potential customers expectations too high by overhyping the product?
I could keep on going but you get the idea.
