Using Your Own Copy Versus Prepacked Affiliate Material for Email Blasts

Just wondering what those of you (AFFILIATES) who do your own email marketing to promote other people's products do if the product you are promoting has emails as part of their affiliate material. Would you just use that or would you create your own copy for your emails?

    I would advise you to use your own copy. It has worked for me better most of the time. The thing is you need to use your intuition. Once in a while the email template from the seller is so good that you may feel you don't need to change anything.

    In cases where you are writing your own copy follow the advice that was given me.

    - Go back to a sales page that just made you have to buy the product on sale and follow a similar formula as you write to you audience. Obviously make it more or less formal depending on your needs and audience.
