hey guys

quick question, if you have your page bookmarked can it help in ranking, most bookmarking sites have a nofollow attribute so you don't gain from it, thus what is the value

It may not be a powerful backlink but it is still a link nonetheless. Since submitting something to a social bookmarking site is so easy It doesn't hurt to do it anyway in my opinion. It should help you in the rankings to some extent. I would stick to doing the dofollow ones only and there is a good chunk of sites that are dofollow.
