How do I work out the market growth for a niche?

Hi friends,

I am trying to work out the market growth rate for the Internet Marketing (aka work from home) niche for the next few years. Is there a clever way to work this out?

I mean with the world economy in its current state, I assume that the growth is very high.. but are there any factual statistics? If so... do you know where I can find these?

    I see plenty of "Work At Home! Be Your Own Boss! $200 a Day!" posters at traffic intersections where I live. So if that's any indication, I see no slowing down of this niche in the future (but it may be saturated though.)

    Yes I see the ads everywhere too... I just want/need to know if there was anywhere that gave factual figures on how many people gave up their jobs to work online/from home last year compared to the year before. This would give me an estimate to how the growth will be over the next couple of years.

    Instead of learning the secret of making online, you should learn how to make money online. There are some statistic prediction on future niche but I think you should find what you like and be creative about it. Money will come! Good luck.

      This is not about how to make money online. I am simply asking whether you know where I can find factual statistics. The reason I need these is to put forward a firm business plan to my bank manager and joint venture partners which shows the growth of a niche.

    have you tried google keyword research / trends, it will show trends for keywords over the last 12 months and should give a xyz / average ? 15 % growth per month per scenario ?
