This might be an off-point kind of question, but I was wondering about the social side of being an Internet marketer.
I'm currently in the newspaper business, so I get around a lot in the community. But when I start an Internet business, all my time will be spent at home staring at a computer screen. It would only take a couple of months before I'd be sitting on a ratty sofa on the front porch, drinking kamikazes and yelling at people who walk by.
What are some pointers for staying plugged into the local community, so I won't become that crazy person at the end of the cul-de-sac?
Thanks for any info you can share.

Haha! I actually got into this business so I could have more time to spend with people. The key is to do everything in moderation. Get up at early and get all your stuff done by the afternoon. Discipline yourself to get up at 8 and work till 4 or how ever long you need to get things done then it's time to have fun. You know what they say: All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.

That is hilarious Jerry...LOL! I love the part about the ratty sofa and yelling at passers by.

It might be a good idea to be that strange person locked up in his own house for a few months, at least until you figure out how to get your online business rolling... Heck, I spent 5 months living in a shack in a remote jungle location (with a cable internet connection) studying internet marketing until I was finally able to make some income, I'm just now getting out into the community.

Wait, you don't want to be that crazy person at the end of the cul-de-sac?
