review page or direct linking?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi, I've been trying to narrow this one down but I did find a thread but couldn't follow the terminology.
With clickbank IM products, does it get better conversions if people are directed to a review page first, or by directly linking people to the main selling page? Thanks, I know this is an obvious one I should know but I'm spread too thin and need to focus on one thing for a while.

  Try to pre-sell first before selling. I suggest create a squeeze page as well, and promote your squeeze page and build your list first before you sell something. It is easier to sell if you already have a customers base in your list. So don't focus on sales yet, focus on building your list.

Neither.

First, squeeze them through a squeeze page into your mailing list, THEN send them to the review page, and THEN to the sales page. And then, of course, follow up on the promotion through your mailing list.

You really want to pass as much traffic as possible through your squeeze pages always.

  You could also use the affiliate 180 system here if you got permission from the product owner. If the sales page has a free optin available on it, you basically copy all the html of the sales page and host it on your domain. You then replace the optin code with your own optin code so are building a list at the same time. If there is no optin code you could still host the page on your domain and add something like an exit-pop for those people who leave the page without buying.
  
  This way you can send people directly to the sales page however you also build YOUR list at the same time and can follow up with people the way you want to.
