Hi,

I am a newbie and I just wanted to ask the hard core IMers here: How would you respond to an Article Rewriting service? How much would you part with (in terms of $ of course) per article to have an Article Rewriter rewrite your whole PLR library.

I find that writing original content for a niche I am not familiar with physically demanding and mentally draining. I have a knack for rewriting articles in a very short period of time.

Most of the time the rewritten content is at least 50% different from original; enough for a google bot (or other non-human internet contraptions) to identify it as unique.

So, If i can make rewriting articles my USP, I can kick-start my writing career.

I'd pay $1-$2 per article, no more. For that I'd expect it to be readable and in good English (not spun).

But then I am known as being tighter than a duck's arse. :-)

I doubt that you'll get good quality articles at the price of $1-$2. Remember to request for written samples before you outsource your articles to other writers.

I would look at Elance and see what the bids are. I do think thought you will likely not get a quality article at $1 to $2.

I pay $4 for each article re-write. Got it through getafreelancer and the quality is good enough for my needs.

The average rate is $2 - $5 for re-writes but you get what you pay.

Wow, seems to me like you have got your work cut out for you if you want to be a writer. Particularly because you are letting people know that writing original stuff is draining. If you want to try to make a living off of writing you have to ensure that you are providing quality work and not just content that a search engine bot will read as 50% unique.

Writing is an ART which few people possess. I think that you need to understand that quality has become MUCH more important than uniqueness (I'm not saying unique content is not important, IT IS) but quality supersedes it. This said, QUALITY costs... so you are looking to good money.

Are you kidding me? A DOLLAR? And you expect it to be GOOD?

I must say you are asking for gold and willing to pay for gold plated... Or not even...

I can gladly say I charge WELL BEYOND two bucks for a rewrite and my clients HAPPILY pay for it. In return they get quality work!

If you're fast enough and provide a high percentage of uniqueness in your rewrites, you can probably find enough business to keep you working steadily. Speed + uniqueness = success.

Wow so many responses. Thanks a lot guys.

Writing unique content is a harder process than just rewriting existing articles. I can write a unique 500 word article in 40 minutes, in a niche that i am not familiar with. In the same 40 minutes, I can rewrite three 500 word articles that are grammatically correct, uses the same type of expressions and creates the same mood.

Pricing the unique article at $1 per 100 words I get $5. Pricing the re-written articles at $0.50 per 100 words I get $7.50 for three articles.

This is why I want to make re-writing articles my USP.

That being said, I am in need of a lot of testimonials and feed back of my work. If any Warrior Forum member can provide me with a few articles, I would be more than happy to re-write the articles as fast as i can in return for an honest feedback/criticism/testimonial.

Please do PM me or email me at mubeensgh@yahoo.co.uk with your requests and articles.

Thank you all for your support. I hope I can kick start my writing career and become as successful as others here.

If you are good there is a steady flow of customers out there for rewriting projects. Like many have said get samples of your work together, and practice.

Many people jump into writing work without having a real passion or interest in writing. As long as you enjoy what you do (I think it does show in what your produce), keep the quality high, and increase your speed as you go, customers will return.

If you don't like to write, you're never going to be a writer. It may sound harsh, but it's true.

Writing takes a combination of natural talent and training. Part of that natural talent is a desire to do it. If you don't like the writing process, readers will pick up on it.

I think it would be around $3-$5 per article. It depends on your budget. But before you outsource make sure that you let the worker write a sample to check if it really suits your needs for an article. You cannot really offer that $1 or $2.. Some workers would not do the tasks as serious and with good quality.
