Facebook - Twitter + WordPress intergration question

I have a fan page that I'd like:

1. Integrate Twitter into so that every time I update my Twitter status it reflects in the fan page (not my personal profile), and

2. Every time I publish a new blog post on my WordPress blog it's also automatically published on the fan page (at least the sypnosis, and a link back to reading the article).

While I know and can easily do this for my personal profile, I'm still trying to work this out for the fan page. Any ideas how I can do that? Thanks!

From what I understand, Facebook fan pages has is own scripting language; which recognizes Action Script... well, compiled Flash anyway.

So, you should be able to code, (or have coded), a Flash app that receives the Twitter and Blog posts. You could do it via RSS; (which Action Script handles very well; XML);... OR you could do it via PHP (or other server side script) connecting to Action Script.

Shouldn't be too difficult for a programmer who knows what they're doing.

Facebook has free fanpage apps that do all that.

Just do a search in their apps directory:
    http://www.facebook.com/apps/directory.php

You can click Pages on the left column to see the apps for Fan Pages and check out: NetworkedBlogs | Facebook

    @tecHead uhm, that's the prob. I'm not a programmer and I'm not a techie.

@Ron thanks - will comb the directory to find the best app for the fan page!

Btw I tried the Social/RSS app before. For some weird reason, it documented the past blog posts but the new ones never got published.

You could also set it up so that the Wordpress blog will simul-post to Twitter and Facebook Page using the Socialite plugin.

Fair warning: It's possible I'm arguing with you because I have nothing better to do.

Looks like the solution is pretty easy: just sign up for hootsuite.com and it'll take care of the rest, lol

You can also try an app in FB called RSSGraffiti.

It has to be configured for both your personal profile and FB Page. Then you choose which feeds you'd like to show up on either page-- they're separate from each other. Add as many feeds as you'd like (ie multiple twitter accounts). You can schedule when you'd like your feeds to be updated, from immediately after it's posted to whenever. You can add more pages to your RSSGraffiti profile & manage which feeds you'd like to add to them.

Thanks for asking the ?. I had thought I'd just use friendfeed, posterous, pixelpipe, ping.fm or helloTXT to integrate these but it wasn't as easy as I'd first thought it would be. Now it's all set.

I do hope you're able to find the solution that works for you,
