Best ways to recruit affiliates for a product launch?
I'm creating a product that has the potential to be big. It's my first product and it's not in the make money niche, it's in the diet niche and it's the result of 20 years of struggle that I was finally able to put to an end, so I believe in it more than 100% and want to position myself as an expert so I can build a successful business around it.
I've been tinkering about the launch lately and consuming lots of info products about subjects like list building, successful email marketing, product launches, webinars, ...
When it comes to product launch, I'm a bit puzzled. I learned techniques about a pre-launch blog, producing some video content, type of mailing to do to my list and doing webinars with successful affiliates.
The thing is, I'm not sure I catch the drift when it comes to recruiting affiliates in the first place. Being a non-make money product, I don't really know who are the superstar affiliates in my niche because they are more low key. I also read a lot of stuff about JV partners, JV Launches and all things JV, but if I understand well, to have success on that path, you have to yourself have a big list to offer the JV partner promotion of his product on your list. So in my case, I'm better off with the affiliate path than the JV one I guess.
I'm planning to put up my product, witch will be multimedia, on Clickbank, and would like to be able to get good momentum there to hopefully get a great gravity right away.
A also heard about doing a in-house launch before and then an affiliate launch. What's the main benefit of that? Testing out the offer, testing the free material, testing ppc, ...? Unfortunately, I'm deep in debt right now so I can only afford so much to test grounds. Also, how is it technically possible to do multiple launches? Should I close the sales letter and re-open the pre-launch blog or something like that to make it seem like nothing happened yet? What about people who already saw your site when it was at the in-house launch?
If I get in touch with good affiliates, I'm of course able to show them my strategy, sales letter, marketing funnel, so they can see for themselves if it will convert or not. Is Warrior Forum a good place to find those precious affiliates? What about DP and other IM forums? Is there any website that announces all new clickbank products and that have lots of eye balls lurking around?
Any chance of still screwing up even if my product is gold, my offer crushes and my sales letter is amazing?
Jeez, I realize that this is a lot of question and I'll be very grateful to any one that will be able to clear things up a bit for me.
Thanks
