More duplicate content questions
I understand now that duplicate content on the same website is not nor ever was penalized.
The situation with multiple sites, however, is not as clear. The way I seem to understand it now is that the first place the content gets indexed will get the "credit" for the content, whatever that credit may be.
So does this mean that my practice of publishing an original article on my site and EZA at the same time is backwards because EZA will no doubt get spidered first?
Of course I get the backlinks from EZA but I would get them regardless of the order in which I publish it, wouldn't I?
I'd really appreciate any enlightenment on this!
