I love the idea of promoting products as an affiliate. I love Clickbank. What I want to know from you more seasoned marketers, "Do you, or do you know of someone who is making good money from promoting an affiliate product that is posted on Clickbank? I need some serious encouragement, because I have done the following:
1. My own domain
2. Blogger domains (several)
3. Ads on Google & Yahoo
4. Ezine articles
5. Ping the blogs
6. Post on Digg
I have had some success, but very little. I want to be very careful here, I am not complaining, I am seeking a light at the end of the tunnel. I love the whole concept and I am not giving up. I would love to hear from some of you who have scored and scored very big doing the affiliate thing via Clickbank. What route did you take.
Remember I should still be considered a newbie--even though I have been in these training pants a good long time. I don't have a list. It seems to be the Catch 22. You have to have a list to win and you can't win until you have a list.
I have invested in many, many products offered by those who know this market. But I always seem just an arm's throw short of making the grade. I have sold a total of $433 through my various Clickbank products. I start with one and promote the heck out of it and when the fish are not biting I change bait and keep on fishing.
We get up in the morning and we seem to be wrestling that great bear called Google. But that is not unique to me--all of you have that same challenge. Is there a more simple way that one can pay his entry fee, do the due diligence and reasonably expect a modest if not a very good success? Nearly every offer suggests $5000 or $10,000 or even greater rewards per month--I am over here thinking I would like to score with $500 month so that I can adjust my formula and do what is necessary to make more.
This may sound like sour grapes, but its really frustration. I want very much to earn a place among you good people. I salute this forum. It's one of the very best places on the Net. You people reach out to help people.
My purpose is to get a good discussion going on this so that perhaps we who are in the struggle will pick up the missing ingredient. We want to make it!
