Image to Represent Ebook

I know in the IM field we're all very aware that images of Ebooks don't mean that you'll also get a physical book looking like the one in the photo. However outside the IM niche I'm having trouble with people telling me this is deceptive. To show a physical photo of an ebook.

The website clearly states downloadable manual multiple times when I discuss exactly what the course entails. (Since a physical DVD is also sent.) Plus the shopping cart clearly details DOWNLOADABLE manual.

Question: Am I being deceptive using a photo of the ebook? How else can I get it across besides plastering a big DOWNLOADABLE across the cover?

Any ideas?? I'm not doing it to be deceptive, people just see the pic and purchase it then complain they didn't read anything, just saw a photo and bought. (I must have a REALLY nice photo!!)

    Why not stick your ebook up on CreateSpace so people who want a real physical book can buy it there?

    Of course, then they don't get the DVD...

    I'll check CreateSpace though...maybe we can do a one click upsell to a physical manual. Its LONG and COLORFUL so costly to print and people want it but not for the price we'd have to charge! hahh Maybe CreateSpace will be cheaper. Thanks!

    Yup that's about the only thing you can do or take the image down and decrease your sales

    Okay thanks guys...my hubby says the same thing! How many more times do I need to tell them? hah But yes without a picture it would greatly decrease sales.
