Who has the best 'How To Build a Membership Site' information?

Who has the best information available for creating a membership site? I like the stuff you're supposed to learn at www.MembershipCube.com but was wondering if anyone can recommend something as good as that for less money? I think I saw somewhere that MembershipCube costs $800.00 to join but apparently they include the Wishlist plugin for free with your membership (which normally costs $300.00).

Thanks
Steve

Has anyone figured out the differences between using s2Member and the WP Wishlist plugin?

      Thanks

Membernaire IS quite good. Jimmy shares with you how you can build a fixed term membership site minus all the hassles like a membership script as quick as you can and from scratch. So if you are looking into something like set and forget kinda membership sites, membernaire ought to be it.

      Hello

I have been following Paul Evans, Simple Six Figures and it is by far the best out of all the other training i have taken in the past. First program that actually teaches continuity the right way.

Plus he's a great guy and very supportive.

Membernaire is excellent info for a specific type of membership (fixed length, by email).

It doesn't cover wordpress or other "site based" memberships that I know of. And because you get each lesson by email, in order, you don't get everything at once - you have to keep paying your $27 a month. I bailed after 13 instalments as I decided to focus elsewhere.

Jason Fladlien has a product that has been receiving great reviews on creating membership sites. If you go to his site jasonfladlien.com or google him you will find a product called mst2.0 which stands for Membership Site Tactics 2.0.

Jason offers many other great products as well.

I have to disagree on Membernaire. The content he sent out for $27 per month was underwhelming to say the least. It became so obvious what he was going to say in the next lessons by the "anticipation copy" (i.e. In the next lesson, what if ....) I canceled.

However, the concept of a fixed length membership powered by an auto-responder instead of running a high maintenance forum type membership is an excellent one and is probably worth the first months $27 fee (if you can't figure out the entire system from this sentence).

EDIT: I'm not saying Membernaire is a scam or junk course. It may be ok for some noobs, but if you are an intermediate or higher level internet marketer and you know what an auto-responder is, and understand the concept of a fixed length membership, there's better ways to spend $27/month (imo).

Here are the two I recommend:

Membership Site Tactics 2.0 by Jason Fladlien

How To Setup Your Own Membership Site in 48 Hours Or Less Jimmy D. Brown (this one is about to close down)

These two are hands down the best courses I have ever bought on the topic of membership sites.

        1. Buy your domain (10 bucks)

        2. Buy your hosting (1 year 80 bucks or less)

3 Install wordpress (free - use simplescripts)

4 Get a theme (free or you choose a price)

        4. Buy this wso/plugin here for 24 bucks: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...hts-avail.html

        5. Install plugin

        6. Upload content

        7. Got video? Get Easy Video Player (127 bucks)

        8. Set up Amazon S3 account to store video (account is free and storage is pennies a month)

9 Make sure you have a verified business Paypal account with free debit card.

        10. Create squeeze page (if desired) with Aweber (or aweber knockoff) sign up (20 bucks a month)

        11. Start driving traffic

Total "basic" investment (w/o content created) $261 USD

There's your plan, less than the wishlist plugin price.
